First American Gods trailer:
Love the book, so fucking hyped for this. Especially with Ian McShane playing the best part!

If any of you have Amazon Prime and haven't watched Hand of God, I'd really recommend it.

Still digging The Night Of, and the 3rd episode was a little better than the 2nd, but it feels like they're stretching things out a bit.
Can't figure out what Omar's deal is. Why does he want to help Nasir so much? That veal scene was weird as hell...

I feel it's my duty to share TWD spoilers everywhere I go, so if you want to know who gets Lucille'd Sorry, I know this was like 100 pages ago in this thread lol, but I'm just catching up now.... First, I love that your name is homage to Carol from TWD - she also is one of my most faves on that show. Second - I am pleased by this reveal. I think it's perfect. Although I will be VERY sorry to see *that* particular character go. Sigh. Do you watch FTWD? I took me a while to get into it, but I've become a HUGE fan of Stephen Dillane's son in the process, so he keeps me coming back. (and yes, I refer to him as Baby Stannis)....

When I heard there was a trailer, I didn't know how they were going to do it and make it decent without showing any of those main characters - but they did it. VERY excited!! and SHIVA!!!!!!!! WHOOOT!!!

I haven't watched season two, but after watching their comic con trailer, I might go back and give it a try. Their trailer was better than TWD's.

Why does he want to help Nasir so much? That veal scene was weird as hell... When I saw MKW's name in the credits I actually shouted "OMAR COMIN'!" Old habits die hard, I guess. I don't know what his deal is either, but it's got my attention. I was freaking out the entire episode though. I was expecting something far worse to happen to Nas than just a bed burning

So are both killed by Negan? Sorry, I'm not really in the TWD fandom and I don't know where to look for this info.

I haven't watched season two, but after watching their comic con trailer, I might go back and give it a try. Their trailer was better than TWD's. It's MUCH better than Season 1 - I was relieved. Still much slower moving than TWD, but I enjoy the pace change (although I do yell at the TV a lot because of the naivety of the characters - "NOO! Don't do THAT!!" "Blood!! Smear more blood!!" "HOW DO YOU GUYS NOT KNOW THIS YET?!?" lol....

I ended up quiting on FTWD. I watched the first season, and about half of S2, but it often felt like a chore to get through the episodes. I really wanted to like it, as I'm a fan of Kim Dickens (mostly because of Deadwood), but I just didn't care about any of the characters. In fact I found most of them annoying tbh. Writing issues aside, at least I actually like a lot of TWD characters, Rick, Carol, Michonne, etc.

I just didn't care about any of the characters. i completely relate to this - it's how I felt all of season 1. I wasn't sure I would hang on through S2, but Dillane's character Frank is what keeps me coming back. We're at the halfway point of S2 and it was a pretty big upset/mixup that we ended the halfway mark with, so I'm looking forward to see where things are going to go. I too love Kim Dickens (because of Deadwood) but I find I cannot stand her character in this show. However, there is speculation that there is a lot we don't know about her backgound and once that is revealed it will be game changing. (There is also speculation she is related to one of our TWD characters).

Yes Abe dies first, then Daryl (apparently) lashes out at Negan and Glenn is killed as a retaliation, both by Lucile. Then Daryl is taken hostage. Rick also has an elaborate dream sequence where he pictures "better times" than what's happening now.

Right? At most they could've showed on death, because I believe originally Glenn went first. His death was apparently shot last season, but then it was reworked to add Abe in who is now going first. Then if they NEEDED a cliffhanger and a shock death, they could've opened for another one. It's actually quite insulting to both the actors. To Cudlitz, because his death will be immediately overshadowed by Glenn, who is a bigger character. And to Yeun, who's big "arc" last season was dumpstergate and can't even get his own comic iconic death. He has to settle for aftershock.
