1. Favorite Scene / Location: Varys and Ned Stark talking about what a fool the king is, confirming Jon Arryn's murder. Arryn's murder set the entire Game into motion, and brought the Starks to King's Landing. Followed by the exchange between Varys and Littlefinger. Such baiting.
2. Favorite Character / Actor: Varys. He nails the Master of Secrets role in this episode. Playing everyone against themselves.
3. Favorite Line / Quote: "Go fetch the breastplate stretcher!" Robert to poor Lancel Lannister. "You are an honorable man. I'd like to think I am too." Varys to Ned Stark.
4. Least Favorite Scene: Lysa Arryn and Catelyn Stark. Watching the fake boob was weird.
5. Least Favorite Character: Littlefinger, just as he was supposed to be. Close second: Robert in the Small Council meeting. Drunken fool.
Poor Ned's honor takes some real hits here. His loyalty to Robert is smashed. He finds out Jon Arryn was murdered, probably by Cersei. Jamie calls him out in the middle of King's Landing.
NOTE: Speaking ahead, it is interesting that Ned and Jamie's fight was interrupted by a third party in the back of the leg, given what we now know about Ned's fight with Ser Arthur Dayne.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Cersei and Robert talking about the Dothraki and Lyanna. 2. Favorite Character / Actor: Robert and Cersei. Both Lena and Mark Addy killed it in this episode. 3. Favorite Line / Quote: "Stannis has the personality of a lobster"~Loras 4. Least Favorite Scene: Theon and Ros. It didn't really add anything tbh. At least the Loras/Renly scene was sowing the seeds for a future plot line. 5. Least Favorite Character: Jaime. Fuck him for what he did to poor Jory.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Agree with @nictarion - the scene between Cersei & Robert is one of the best done, ever. How we see a tiny speck of vulnerability in Cersei as she admits she once had true feelings for Robert. How he tells her it's a neat trick she does whenever she opens her mouth he hears her father, and how she actually shows some leadership prowess again here, as she did with Joffrey about how to handle the kingdom and threat of war. She even admits Jaime isn't serious enough to be The Hand. I loved all the little reveals in this scene. 2. Favorite Character / Actor: Varys wins it this round simply because this is really where we start to see his brilliance both as a hard to figure out character AND as an actor, Conleth really just nails it every single time. 3. Favorite Line / Quote: "I followed you into war -- twice, without doubts, without second thoughts. But I will not follow you now. The Robert I grew up with didn't tremble at the shadow of an unborn child." - Ned Stark ... Man he really just let Robert have it here in that scene and it was brilliant - the one moment we get to see the real Ned Stark standing up for what he believes in on a moment that means so much. As others have already said... knowing that he was defending Daenerys as a Targaryen because of Jon makes this scene and moment so much more emotional to watch the second time around. I had a big lump in my throat! 4. Least Favorite Scene: Ros & Theon sex scene. Even though I enjoyed the final line where Ros tells him to get a wife if he doesn't want to pay for it, I felt this one sexposition scene was the least necessary. I think it was konradsmith who said at least the sex scene between Loras and Renly served a purpose of setting up their plotting. 5. Least Favorite Character: Theon - they've just set him up to be such a twat. And he was a twat back then.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Another vote for Cersei and Robert. This is probably one of my favourite scenes ever in the show. 2. Favorite Character / Actor: Ned. That epic micdrop when he gets rid of the Hand of the King pin. 3. Favorite Line / Quote: "I only know she was the one thing I ever wanted. Someone took her away from me, and seven kingdoms couldn't fill the hole she left behind." (Especially because it mirrors Sansa's "It's the only thing I ever wanted from 1x01.) 4. Least Favorite Scene: Again Ros & Theon sex scene, it was kinda pointless, though it was at least a demonstration of how much of a dick Theon was at the beginning. 5. Least Favorite Character: Sansa.

Favourite Scene/LocationRobert and Cersei. One of the best scenes of the season, and possibly even the best 2-character scene of the show. Favourite Character/ActorHis best episode Favourite Line/Quote"I only know she was the one thing I ever wanted. Someone took her away from me, and seven kingdoms couldn't fill the hole she left behind."Least Favourite SceneTheon and Ros. Didn't really add anything except Theon's already-obvious arrogance. Least Favourite CharacterThat asshole Gold Cloak who is completely blind if he thinks Arya is a boy

Favorite Scene/Location: I add still another vote for the one between Cersei and Robert. Just so excellently done, and gives us perhaps the only glimpses, even if brief, into the human Cersei and the human Robert. It creates even more mystery/focus around Lyanna, too, but it's for the reasons I just mentioned that make it my favorite.
Favorite Character: I have to go with Arya, even though her scenes are not so much front and center. I got to see her give the guards a good 'how to' when they tried to keep her from coming back in to the RK.
Favorite Line or Quote: "What harm could Lyanna Stark's ghost do to us that we haven't done to each other a thousand times?" Could the use of "ghost" [Ghost, symbolizing Jon perhaps?] be prophetic at all? Probably just tinfoil, but I did notice it. :tinfoil: Even without all that, it's still my favorite quote.
Least Favorite Scene: Again, Ros and Theon. It did introduce us to Ros, at least.
Least Favorite Character: I'm tempted to go with @fatherofdragons on this one and say the guard that put a sword through Ned's leg, but I'll have to go with LF for preventing Ned from leaving KL with both girls that day and just in general for being such a jerk who'd at the bottom of most of the trouble.

Ros was in the first episode. She was in our introduction to Tyrion scene. Oh, you're right, she was. I was also thinking, though, of being introduced to her in the sense of getting to know a little bit about her - the grief she gave Theon, for instance - I liked seeing that she had spunk and could "hold her own".

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Bran and Maester Luwin going over the other houses in Winterfell 2. Favorite Character / Actor: Catelyn - so great in this episode. 3. Favorite Line / Quote: "Bow you shits!" 4. Least Favorite Scene: Theon/Ros sex scene - pretty pointless, although it gets points for full frontal male nudity. 5. Least Favorite Character: Jaime. Fuck you, man.
