Last night's episode was great. I'm still digesting all of it. So much action! Feels like more happened last night than the rest of the season leading up to it. I seem to be in the minority, but I’m not too bothered by William surviving that many gun shot wounds. There’s plenty of real life survivors of multiple gsws, especially if no major organs are hit. And I certainly don’t want to lose Ed Harris from the show. I have no problem with it either. And after those revelations, I wouldn't be surprised if he was backed up somewhere anyways.

Stupid set up but the scene itself was well acted and while it was running I didn’t think about its stupidity because the actress was so compelling. But I agree it wasn’t the best. Maeve and Dolores’ conversation was the best part of a strong episode though

There was also a line of dialogue about the Cradle being a particularly dangerous area. Like extra flammable or something which explains why he didn't just shoot her right-off. And why a grenade or two wiped the whole place out so cleanly. And reading men is her gig, so she should be able to do that with some ease. Now that doesn't make it not-stupid that a trained killer would be so casual around her. But then that tank top was quite flattering. And if a guy like Elon Musk was dumb enough to marry her twice, I guess a random security dude would die for the chance at her too.

No Men aren't that dumb. That scene with Angela required me to suspend my belief. That guy knows that the robots have gone on a killing spree. He has seen all the dead human bodies. That was just plain dumb. She is 10 times stronger than him she could have put her fist through his face. Why would he even get that close? The swat guy was a one dimension caricature of a modern day cave man. The guys on Seal Team Six would have shot her on site. Westworld is better than that. But whatever no show is perfect. I'll give them a pass.
Another thing I was thinking is that why doesn't Delos have a security swat team of robots themselves for just this reason. Robots that don't feel emotion and a merely extensions of a human CO, kind of like the drones. Even the very very best Seal Team can't overcome what are basically superhumans. If Westworld actually exists you can be damn sure the DOD would have them own super soldier robots that have a completely different code and can't be hacked my Ford or Maeve. And they would make them so they are not smart enough to become self aware.

That was amazing. One of my favorite episodes to date. Zahn McClarnon has now killed it in Fargo and Westworld. I’ll be on the lookout for anything he’s in going forward.

Can’t believe William killed his own daughter. Kind of fucked up that episode aired on Father’s Day.

Wow. For every question they answered they asked about ten more. Seems like s3 will be a very different show than what we've got so far.
Also, to Tessa Thompson

Well fuck me. Also at the irony(is that the right word?) of a Host version of Charlotte Hale being less sociopathic than the human version. Her killing Elsie was stone cold

MThat was an excellent finale to the season. Man, that was some deep existential philosophy being addressed. I’m really looking forward to next season. It’ll be the host who are still trapped in the park and then Dolores and Bernard on the outside. Well fuck me. Also at the irony(is that the right word?) of a Host version of Charlotte Hale being less sociopathic than the human version. Her killing Elsie was stone cold Definitely ironic.

I was thinking that Dolores decided to remake Bernard as he was instead of altering to suit her because of what happened with Teddy.

I was thinking that Dolores decided to remake Bernard as he was instead of altering to suit her because of what happened with Teddy. As she said in the finale, people can change their minds. Think you are partially right about Teddy. But I also think she realised that she needs him, and his alternative views, to create a world where the Hosts can live. They may be at odds, and may come into conflict, but the sum of their work will be what’s is needed for the Hosts to survive. Looking at how Host Hale stands when Dolores is speaking to Bernard (when it’s not Halores I mean). Her posture and expression...maybe it’s just me but it looks like Tessa Thompson is channeling Talulah Riley’s Angela there. I hope so, would like to see her come back. And Dolores had the opportunity to retrieve the core, either when they initially attacked the Mesa or after she killed Hale
