Ooh, it will be interesting to see Jon's crown. But you are right, Dany hasn't gotten a crown yet. Where is my Queen's crown? I'm betting on it being a crown for Jon as being declared King in the North for sure. Dany needs a crown too but probably not until she gets to Westeros. Those things are tough to pack in a suitcase.

Oh, yeah, it's most certainly Jon's. We haven't heard anything about Dany getting a crown. I miss seeing the crown she had in the books with her three dragons.

What really worries me is Sansa and Jon... On the one hand, Frikidoctor says that Sansa was expecting to be named Queen (not without reason IMHO), but on the other hand he says that it's unclear how she reacts to Jon being named King and what she will do about it. And that this will be explored next season. I really don't want a Sansa/Jon rivalry next season.

I mean Jon wasn't a very good leader, he broke rank, he didn't follow his own plans and the only reason he's alive is because he got lucky and the Vale showed up. Like you said, it's not unreasonable for her to expect to be name Wardeness of not Queen. How would the FD know this will be explored next season, is this speculation on his part?

So if it seems like there's tension between Sansa and Jon (carried over from the disagreement they had before battle) - then that's a strategic place to leave it hanging for next season I suppose. We saw the scene in the preview where Jon says "We need to trust each other. We have so many enemies now." And he kisses her forehead but we don't get to see her reaction to that. I'm wondering if she's still going to plot things with Littlefinger since they too still have a scene where he tells her what he really wants and what she knew all along anyways.

No, I completely agree that Sansa has good reason to be disappointed. I just don't want her to actively do something against Jon, because I want my Starks to be united. Alas, if they go down this route, I suppose LF will play a role in that as well, which in the end may lead to his demise (or so I hope ). I think what FD says is that in 6x10 there is a conversation between Sansa and LF and Sansa is disappointed about the situation, but it remains unclear if she accepts it in the end or does something about it. That's why FD speculates that this storyline will be continued next season.

I was hoping that scene would be our last Winterfell scene (after Jon's crowning and the LF/Sansa conversation) and that it would put an end to the possible Jon/Sansa rivalry.

I was hoping that scene would be our last Winterfell scene (after Jon's crowning and the LF/Sansa conversation) and that it would put an end to the possible Jon/Sansa rivalry. I hope so too. But I'm also very open minded to the possibility that Sansa may have changed just a bit to the manipulative side based on all the influences she's had from Ramsay, Littlefinger and even way back to Cersei. This goes along with a post I just made to Nezzer over in the 6x09 discussion thread. Remember those chilling words to Sansa from Ramsay? "You can't kill me, I'm a part of you now." I really think that was him recognizing that he had psychologically twisted Sansa into a darker person (not that she's pregnant, it wasn't literal). There's a really good chance Sansa's now looking out for her own best interests now just as she said to Jon, "You can't protect me, no one can."

Tbh neither Jon or Sansa deserves to rule the North. Jon almost got himself killed, and I won't bother with Sansa. We've seen enough discussion about her.

Lyanna Mormont? Davos has more common sense, but he's not a Northerner. Bran maybe? He should be heading down there with Benjen soon.

Sansa gets the Vale and Jon becomes a new Night King. I have no idea who should rule now.

I think LF's plan is to create a rivalry between Jon and Sansa anyway especially when he whispered "half-brother" to her right before he walked out in 6x05. As Olenna said to Varys in S3, if LF marries Sansa he'll have the key to the north in his pocket. The problem is Jon is in the way of his plans. But I still think in the end Sansa will be his downfall.
At this point, I think she's playing him, but still under his influence. She wants to keep LF close for that reason so potentially the North and the Vale will be united. Even if she's not somehow involved in the WW storyline, besides the rest of the north, they'll need the Knights of the vale and the houses who were loyal to the Tullys. I dunno that's how I see it for now until we see the scenes in the finale.
I don't really mind the darker route for Sansa either as it makes sense after her time spent in King's Landing and in Winterfell with Ramsay.
