Wish the preview for next week had been a little longer, but everything about this season is apparently going to be rapid fire and quick of pace. And speaking of the preview -- was that Nymeria I saw? I can sleep happily tonight!

Loved that Dany's entrance to Dragonstone itself was quiet, with just her very trusted - it was spiritual. My favorite scenes of the episode! (And, hello, my friend!) iheartseverus!!! I keep going to the Member's list to see if you've checked in lately, and was giving up hope.

Oh, I forgot -
Love the jokes, especially the 'two good hands' and 'murdering one's own brother' section

I thought the Northern scene was a little too long but I'm not too mad about it .

The Jon/Sansa scenes worried me, but I actually think it played really well. Like Envie said, the conflict is normal family conflict, no worse than the conversation I had with one of my own sisters this afternoon so, fuck reddit. I'm ready for the haters. They blow everything out of proportion or twist it for whatever agenda they have. I don't consider their opinions relevant, they provide no insight.

Oh, I forgot - Love the jokes, especially the 'two good hands' and 'murdering one's own brother' section I loved the back and forth between Jaime and Euron, too, and the looks Jaime gave Cersei. He's definitely just not too sure about her, I think. Also loved the conversation between Cersei and Jaime at the beginning - what legacy? Their kids are all dead.

This episode is so really well written, so much better than some of previous season. And even if Sansa/Jon conflict was advertised as most annoying to fans thing ever (13months, ugh why) we have here good, pretty normal siblings exchange of views, even not argument. Reminder/set up but an organic, logical and not controversy, I like it

Sansa's new master of sarcasm. Combined efforts of Tyrion, Olenna and Cersei wasn't wasted

Although I liked the opening scene with Arya I thought the pacing was little rushed but the acting was fantastic and I loved what Arya said to the young girl. Very fuck yeah! The Winterfell scene was good although, it felt a little long, especially the back and forth between Jon and Sansa. Although I get where Sansa was coming from and in normal circumstances would agree with her, in the current conditions Jon was right. The scene felt fine. The after conversation was okay.
One of my favorite scenes was with the Hound and Berric and Thoros. I thought the whole thing was deep and moving. From the conversations they had, to the Hound seeing the WW in the fire to the burial of the farmer and his daughter. Very well done.
Euron scene with Cersei was also very good. He completely redeemed himself from last season and I'm really looking forward to him fucking shit up this season.
I think might favorite scene might have been Dany's arrival (no surprise ). I've been waiting for this for a long time and I though they did a beautiful job setting it up. The music, the pacing the scenario was all on point and without saying a word Emilia delivered, you can feel her anticipation, her awe and her pride at finally making it home.

I know the general consensus here seems to be that the Sam puke-and-crap-cleaning scenes went on too long, but I thought it was necessary, really--if you're going to establish useless, endless, pointless drudgery, well, you've got to show that useless, endless, pointless drudgery. You can't do that in a quickie flash...just my two cents. And, let me say, speaking for any other 'old-timer' bookies here, we have been waiting for TWENTY-ONE YEARS to see Dany land at Dragonstone. And tonight, it happened. And it was well done. Very well done.

really enjoyed the arya, cersei, sandor and of course dany scenes
f the sam and winterfell scenes were kind of meh tho imo. which is why i ended up rating it a 7 instead of an 8 or a 9

Euron looked like a rockstar from the 80s lol. I dig it. I felt sexually attracted to Euron in that scene. Never thought I'd say this but there you have it.

All these "fights" between Sansa and Jon will seem really pointless after next episode because Jon will literally leave and won't come back until next Season.

I also thought the scene with Arya and the Lannister soldiers was interesting. Good guys, seems like - Arya was scoping out their swords, but then the one who offered her the rabbit first and said his mother taught him to be kind to strangers, and then they'd be kind to him. Been a long time since Arya's had 'buddies'. Loved it when she said she was going to KL to kill the queen. The guy that made the sweet blackberry wine, reminded me a bit of Hotpie.
