I was thinking of purchasing the combined tales of Dunk and Egg, "A Night of the Seven Kingdom" and do a re-read of it as it has been many year's since I read it and I don't remember most of it. Have any of you read the books recently or are looking to read the books?

Maybe I'll do a reread soon.

Count me as another who has read them but not for a while. I also purchased that edition and would be down for a re-read. Fuck I love The Hedge Knight so much

Have any of you read the books recently or are looking to read the books? Hey moiaf, I read 'The Sworn Sword' again a few months back having found Standfast was another hollow hill. [For my hills essay] I was drawn in and re-read the full story. George seems to be hiding small hints/clues/parallels within these novellas that we as a fandom can link to the main story. Always worth re-reading Dunk & Egg in my most humble of opinions. As has been mentioned up thread, the artwork is worth the purchase alone I reckon. Good idea to read them again, I can't commit to three books a month but will try and join in with any prequel chat.

The only one I haven't reread is The Mystery Knight. So it's the one I'd be most interested in rereading. Maybe I'll join in when you guys get to that one.

Awesome! Please join in once we are done reading and begin the discussion. They aren't very long so it, hopefully, won't take me to long to re-read.

Ahh, just now seeing this thread. I read the combined tales about a year ago and was glad to get Targ history - I'd never really known what the Blackfyre Rebellion was all about before that. And - synchronicity - I just ordered the book last week (had borrowed the book last year).
So ... it'll be part of the April Book Challenge? That gives me time to get the book (shipping can be slow from Abe Books) and re-read by the end of April.

We need more Dunk and Egg, I miss them already. Also, I want to read more about Bloodtaven.
