I wonder if Meera is truly finished in the story or if there is anything more for her and/or Howland to contribute in S8. It certainly feels like the show has very little use for the Reeds and included them only because they're so present in the books and Bran would need some travelling companions.
The only thing that gives me pause is that they bothered highlighting Howland's role in the ToJ flashback. It could have just been for continuity's sake, because Jojen had referenced Howland being with Ned in that time in previous seasons but it does seem strange that you'd have this hanging thread being alive and still around. Maybe there will be a clue when we actually see the scene where Meera departs. If they film it more like a final goodbye, that might be more telling. But she could also leave a hint that there's something more that she's going to do as well.

Particularly if people have to abandon the North the Neck could be pretty important.

I think she will be in S8. She wouldn't have anything to do in WF this season, but next season there will be war against the WW and she was part of one the best scenes with the WW. So I'm sure she will be in S8.
Even just to die.

I think they will have to abandon the North, because Nymeria will appear this season, just in one scene in the Riverlands. That is perfect set-up for her to reappear in S8 at the time of need to save Arya. In Riverlands, while they are escaping from the WW.

I hope them two bearded do-gooders come to regret their choice. And that Mel gets to smirk at them for doing so. But if Jon wants to send away the one true ship MeliJondre in favour of height appropriate alternatives for the wee gentleman, than whatevs. He can make his own bed. So long as he remembers he'd be dead in it without a certain angel. This was hilarious - you are always so entertaining with your strange perspective on that old gal Mel! I do think it's amusing she not only lost her job with Jon but she couldn't even seduce him. She brought him back to life but not even a thank-you kiss?! He's clearly saving himself for another now too ... Speaking of interactions, I want a scene with Arya and Lyanna Mormont! It would be pure gold. Don't forget those two were seen coming out of the makeup trailers on the same filming day. I think there's a really good chance they have a scene together...

Because otherwise it would be pretty hard for them to get south.

I hope Meera returns in S8, I'm still paranoid she'll just leave off screen and we won't get to see she and Bran say goodbye, which I think is important.

Or at least one of the major battle, given Dany's dream of fighting them there.

The little tidbits from Lads2.0 sound a lot like our showrunners work. Although, not sure why Mel comes into conclusion that Jon and Dany are Ice and Fire. Isn't she serving Red God and by that shouldn't she'd be saying Azor Ahai or something else? Seems off from her to say this.
Cersei find out about her pregnancy in episode 5, Tormund and Brienne scne about "Sheila" his bear friend or Jon and Baelish scene in the crypts. Some bizarre things going on.

House of they Undying scene or the Red Keep suggests White Walkers arrived even to King's Landing because why else would Cersei blow up this place. As she said, she'll rather destroy it than let anyone have it.
