9 or a 10. I need a rewatch before I vote. Liked it better than the premiere.

8! Great episode that did a good job of moving the story forward
LIKES TWO FEWER SAND SNAKES The Naval battle looked great, though I wish it had been longer Arya meeting Nymeria again, such a sad scene. The 2nd half of the Hot Pie exchange* Littlefinger's dumb ass getting choked. Dany's war council meeting. I'm glad Tyrion got to throw shit at Ellaria and I'm glad Dany and Varys had a conversation about his past. Sam and Jorah, even though that was so disgusting.
DISLIKES That the Sand Snakes spoke before dying. *The first half of the Hot Pie/Arya scene was really awkward. And I thought it was weird Hot Pie didn't inquire about Gendry considering he left them together. Littlefinger's annoying mustache twirling villain face. Grey Worm/Missandei, I'm sorry, I just do not give a shit about their romance.
WEIRD Sansa bitching at Jon, then immediately shutting up when he put her in charge was just weird to watch. Not a dislike per say, but weird.

A ten. Just like Nathalie. Speaking of 10's Rosabell is so much hotter with longer hair.

Yeah, I'm also gonna hold my vote untill I rewatch. I feel like a ten, honestly the only bit I didn't care for was Missandei and Grey worm's sexy time, everything else was just amazing. I'm kind of speechless.

I'm going to start at a 10 and then do my re-watch. Technically, it is almost flawless, the pacing insane. So much to love:
- Olenna telling Dany to "Be a Dragon" - Jon, Sansa, and Davos having a strategy meeting. He's becoming the true King in the North - Jon leaving Sansa in charge. Way to setup to the plate, Jon. Now let's see how she does. - Sam coming to Jorah's aid, knowing it could get them both thrown out into the streets or worse.
Then we have the like/dislike:
- Randall Tarly is the Grumpy Old Man of Westeros, that's for sure. - Jamie isn't up to Tywin levels of diplomacy, but he's doing okay. Now to get away from Cersei
OMG the previews for next week

10, but I know that number won't be adequate for the rest of the season.
Can we make this go all the way up to 11?

I'd say it's a solid 8. I really enjoyed it.
Le Good:
* Arya and Nymeria. So sad... And really good acting from Maisie. * The Naval Battle was fittingly epic. * Hot Pie is back! You have been missed, chubby boy. * Cersei and Qyburn. It's always a joy to see Anton Lesser doing his thing. * Sam and Jorah was... painful to watch. But great acting from both. * Rosabell is beautiful beyond words.
Le Not So Good:
* The Grey Worm and Missandei scene was a bit too long, IMHO. * As other have said, some of the editing transitions were weird, and even gross (greyscale/pie anyone?). * Littlefinger has become a rather annoying and boring character.
After the rather disappointing Euron from last season I'm actually surprised of saying that he has been one of the very best things in Season 7 so far. Good for Pilou, he seems to be really enjoying the part.

I never really give tens, since there are clearly some places where improvements could be made but this is a nine, and as close to a ten as they've got in a long time. There were some awesome shots, great transitions (juicy grey scale to a good old pie) and some awesome moments. It seems like the show is getting into a stride now, setting up everything for the next few weeks. There is clear direction and it feels natural. The plot is not forced or rushed, it's booking over nicely. It had a lot of really satisfying scenes (Jon and Littlefinger) some scenes that were really telling of what's to come (Arya and Nym) and the scene between Dany and Varys which really layed out Varys' character a lot clearer. Now places for improvement do exist. Giving too much screentime to weaker or unimportant characters, particularly when they're entire vocabulary is uttered one slow syllable at a time is wasteful in such a shortened series. I also felt the Sand Snakes bickering scene was utterly unimportant, though I suppose they had to give them something considering they were killing them off.
But all in all, one of the best episode start to finish in a very long time. It's got me really hyped for next week, which means it's done its job.
