So how pissed is Cersei going to be at Jaime for letting Olenna die peacefully? No way she was down with that.

He doesn't look too enthusiastic though . On the side note, once Sansa reunite with Arya, we need a gif collection on how many Stark siblings (or closed ones) that Sansa hugged so far.

Bran is basically a demigod in the books, I'm suprised so many people felt his scenes were off. That's exactly how I'd expect him to act at this point. I guess my biggest gripe with the scene was that it felt a bit rushed. The conversation could have gone just a little bit longer.

Sophie did an amazing job with the emotional scene as well as the terrified look walking away from Bran in the Godswood. I'm sorry poor Bran's been so changed. He's detached and disconnected from the rest of the world now. But I guess that's what would happen to anyone who suddenly knows everything in the world. Very sad.

I really don't like the ZenBran route they're going though. Isaac is a good actor, they should let him emote. I get why they're doing this, but it's a bit of a disservice to him. I agree. They should have given the scene more room to breathe too. It felt a bit rushed. Sophie nailed it though. I also really liked Sansa's scene before Bran arrived. Sansa being the Lady of Winterfell. Oh man Sophie was amazing. She owns these scenes. Bran is basically a demigod in the books, I'm suprised so many people felt his scenes were off. That's exactly how I'd expect him to act at this point. It makes sense, but knowing what Isaac is capable of just makes me feel a bit cheated. I think that's the biggest thing for me. I know he's a good actor and I wanted him to show the same emotions Sophie did, even though I get why he's acting that way.

I also really liked Sansa's scene before Bran arrived. Sansa being the Lady of Winterfell. I thought of YOU immediately during that scene!! I'm watching Sansa walk through Winterfell giving orders and being the true "Lady of Winterfell" and I was taken back in time to her Mother doing the exact same thing in preparation for the King's visit to Winterfell in the very first episode!! The parallels they've given Sansa and Catelyn are wonderful.

That's Sansa's old handmaiden who reported her period to Cersei in 207 and reported Shae to her in 401 who we saw walk in on Jaime and Cersei there. In s6 she'd risen to be Cersei's handmaiden. And now she's dressing like her boss and even has the same haircut. For as much recasting as this show does, it's always good when a very minor role remains consistent. The consistency in this episode was excellent. Tyrions knowledge of the sewer systems, the Bronn quote, Jon and Tyrion quoting themselves... Little details like that go a huge mile in making the series believable. I always fuss over the little stuff, but when it lines up neatly, it really goes far in making things work.

As a huge fan of the first season, I have to say that this episode felt like a S1 episode in many ways: fewer storylines, very dialogue driven, very consistent writing. Just with much more $$$ this time around.

He has pretty much just saw everything in that Bloodraven warg/greenseer download. Apparently that also included the wedding night (from what was said) and probably even more fucked up stuff. Seeing everything like that in such a disconnected way is probably pretty jarring. That said more emotion would be nice, but I get what they were going for. Maybe the issue lay in the execution? He reminded me of the tranquil from Dragon Age.

Indira nailed the heck our of her scene. I felt sorry for her, when Cersei kissed Tyene, she knew that it wasa poison.
I really like that Dany and Jon started as sort of two individuals like no he took my toys vs she wants my toys, I paid for it. It was kinda cute and endearing tbh. But you can tell they have interest in each other, not like romantic yet, sort of respecting each other ... she already is warming up to him. On the terrace, the look she gave him and conversation with Tyrion staring at flames, and just out of blue mentioning he took a knife to his heart - she wasn't even listening to Tyrion in that moment.
Both have good points. Jon doesn't know her but foreshadowing is there, Torrhen and Aegon. Dany on the other hand logically wants him to give up the North, if he wants her help.
Lady Olenna ... gonna miss her, she went out with the ultimate FUCK YOU to Jaime and all the Lannisters.
Euron is just such a cheeky bastard, I love him. Pilou is doing a fine work.
Battle was good, short and I liked the detail of Tyrion talking as the battle was going on. Usually we have battles itself but this was nice.
Bran is a weirdo but their reunion scene was awesome, Sophie nailed it too. When she saw him, Arya will be emotional too. Bran mentioning her wedding night and the fact that Ramsey raped her freaked Sansa. Who wouldn't and really Bran is now 3ER.
I loved this episode so much, top 5 definitely so far.
