Unless she's not drinking wine to throw Tyrion off-guard and it has nothing to do with her pregnancy. What could she possibly try to throw him off about lol I mean usually, in most if not all of her conversations with him, she had a glass of wine. So would her not drinking give Tyrion more or less of a reason to believe what she's saying about sending troops north.

Would have been much better to just give Cersei a tiny bump. Lena is pretty thin so her stomach not looking completely flat would be believable enough to wonder if cersei's preggo

Cersei's pregnancy is really throwing me off. Like if she's not having a misscarriage, what's the point. Initially I thought that it meant that she though she going to 'break the curse' but that only worked if the pregnancy ultimately failed

Posted by daeronthegood "OMG this! I agree she does break the mold, which is what makes her the most compelling character imo. People can't seem to accept a traditionally feminine woman who is also a conqueror. Martin has succeeded in creating a woman who expressively feminine, but holds the power and stature of a great man. All the comparisons to Aegon the Conqeror are no accident, like him she is a world historical figure; its interesting Aegon was never described as the greatest warrior, but rather a master strategist, a god among men, much like our girl. Some people cannot and will not accept that. I really hope that Martin gives her an ending worthy of his creation." Yes, I absolutely love whenever she is compared to Aegon The Conqueror and she is many times, there are also many parallels between the two, which is one of the reason I see Daenerys uniting Westeros in the end as Aegon did and restarting the Targaryen's dynasty with Jon. At least I would really love for that to happen as unlikely as it may be and I know that it might be very unlikely. But, as you said, I'll be fine as long as Martin gives us an ending worthy of her and I think he will.Martin's said the book was about a dynasty coming back into power...most people thinks he was talking about the Starks but maybe, just maybe, he wasn't. I can't see this for three reasons. 1. Tyrion is probably a Targ too. 2. They'll have a child ... it'll be repeated two times that she's barren. Child itself secures dynasty and continuation of their line. 3. Their arcs. Both are saviours and willing to make a sacrifice. They're mirroring Rhaegar and Lyanna, they'll save the world but might die while doing it. Parallel that scares me. in a way Rhaegar and Lyanna sacrificed thousands of lives for jon to be born, to help save Planetos.

Parallel that scares me. in a way Rhaegar and Lyanna sacrificed thousands of lives for jon to be born, to help save Planetos. 1- Tyrion being a Targaryen would liken Daenerys to Aegon even more, actually. 2- I wasn't in the "they will have a child camp" but I was won over by it, after reading countless posts in this very forum. After all she experienced a miscarriage at the end of book five, that means that she is not as barren as we think. 3- I see them as the anti Rhaegar and Lyanna, I must confess I have no love for Rhaegar and Lyanna, they plunged Westeros into despair and misery by simply being stupid. Not talking about their love, but the way they went about it, absolutely selfish, ridiculous and most of all stupid. Rhaegar was supposed to be wise and clever...but really he was a fool. A dangerous one. They didn't sacrifice lives for Jon to be born, they sacrificed lives by being idiots. For me Jon and Daenerys aren't just saviors, offering themselves up for the people, they are also that but not just that, they are leaders and revolutionary minds. They aren't just survival, they are change. However, I can see your points.
