If Jon and Dany both die, Sansa could end up with the Throne, right? Even if they die, there is probably still going to be a baby. So probably not. But in case they find a way: A baby is likely. If both Jon and Dany dies , this baby would need a regent right? In that case Tyrion and Sansa together perhaps.

If the Iron Throne is even still a thing when all is said and done (and that's a big 'if'), I don't think it'll be any of the obvious candidates sitting on it. I don't think we'll see the restoration of House Targaryen.

But in all honesty, that ending would feel very true to the tone of the books. I've said this in the other thread. It would mirror Jon's and Dany's own story (growing up without their real parents), but instead of being a bastard (Jon) or living in exile (Daenerys), their child would be raised as King/Queen. There's a beautiful and tragic sense of irony in this, which to me sounds very reminiscent of GRRM's way of storytelling.

I don't think we'll see the restoration of House Targaryen. It's very unpredictable to say the least. I agree with that. But IF Dany gets pregnant from Jon and IF their baby survives, then my money is on that kid. But that's a big "if" too.

Jon and Dany are dead but their son/daughter is in good hands. I wonder what they'd name it. Aemon, Rhaegar, Robb if boy, Rhaella, Visenya, Elia, Lyanna if girl?? That's all I can come up with off the top of my head lol.

Maybe he's grandson can do what he never could. Aemon is also a good bet, but i'm still hoping that Jon's real name is Aemon.

I think what Dany saw in her HoTU dreams is going to come true. The iron throne will be destroyed, after the war for dawn. That's not to say a new capital won't be established. I see no one on the throne as of yet.

I see no one on the throne as of yet. Yeah this is my mindset too. Maybe not literally destroyed, but just that people see the throne isn't relevant in comparison to the real threat, and it's forgotten.

If KL is gone by the end of the show, I wonder what the new seat of power would be. I think they would build a new city near King's Landing, since that is a strategically good location, smack in the middle of Westeros, on the water.
But building a new capital would take time. Dragonstone or Winterfell would probably be the temporary seat of the King/Queen until then, depending on who that is.

I could easily see Sansa being queen in the end. Jon ends up ruling, names Sansa his heir either because Dany is dead and he hasn't married yet or he marries Dany and she can't bear children. Since Bran is all fucked up now, Sansa would be a logical choice for heir. I think. I dunno. Whatever.

Sansa being queen in the end would trigger a good chunk of the fandom so therefore I immediately support it.

I've always believed it will be Jon, so that's who I voted for. I could definitely see it being the child of Dany and Jon though if they both die. With Tyrion as regent. I'm not so sure Sansa would be involved though. Someone has to rule the North.
