I can't believe I don't have the energy to speculate this early. I first need some leaks LOL. When do they start filming again? October?

I also like how Bran had a semi-coherent conversation with Sam and decided this was the fucking guy who deserved to hear what he'd learned about Jon before the season started. Sansa or Arya might have been good options too chief. Imagine their reaction. They all will have require a therapy if they make it to the end with all the shit that's been going on there. Or a family hug.

I'm 80% sure they're going to have a baby. Their conversation at the Dragonpit, Jon was like "let me prove the witch wrong for you!" LMAO Too much baby talk for it to be just a coincidence. They've peppered that idea through the past few episodes. So yes, definitely happening. Just don't name him Ned.

How can Baelish be so stupid that he believes it when Sansa pretends to be afraid that Arya wants to be lady of Winterfell That would never be Arya's goal even if she would turn on Sansa. Sansa is his weakness. His only weakness. It makes sense that he would think she was under his thrall because he assumed Cat would love him too.

I didn't not get "jealous" from Tyrion at all. I got "Oh shit, this really is going to complicate things, this is the worst distraction they both need right now".
I think both Jorah and Tyrion were full aware of where things were heading. Both likely hoping they were wrong, for different reasons.

Why? Did any of us say there wouldn't be conflict? I certainly remember saying it quite a few times. Because many (yourself included) argued that them being torn apart over this wasn't an option because they love each other. I think the perceived threat of them being torn apart over his heritage will be there, just as the perceived threat of Sansa and Arya being torn apart by Littlefinger was there. D&D are the ultimate story trolls. They did this same thing after Jon Snow was killed. "Ohhh noooo... he's dead, he's really gone!"

That's some nice selective memory on your part because I can't actually quote myself where I clearly indicated that I can see Jon isolating himself from everyone while he process this information. And I believe what Weiss said was "if not tear them apart, at least cause real problems in their relationship." We all said it would cause a problem we just disagree about the nature of the problem.

It struck me tonight that Uncle Benjen will always be Uncle Benjen. Can't take that away from Jon.

Honestly I wish Sam and Bran would keep that information to themselves until after the Great War is over. Jon identifies as a Stark, he and Dany didn't grow up together, and all it can serve is to create confusion at a perilous time.
But hey, I guess that's why we're having an additional season

The scene where Tyrion looks on disapprovingly at Jon going into Dany's room comes off strangely unless we're supposed to believe Tyrion's in love with Dany (which the show didn't really depict the way Dinklage hinted they would in that interview). Is him being jealous and in love with her supposed to be a secret that comes out next season so he and Jon can be at odds? A little weird in any case... He could be jealous but also thinks it's a bad idea. Dany is to him acting on emotions and Jon is no longer a King, he's Warden or? Like not much of a political gain since he pledged to her. Not like Tyrion is better but he lives in a fantasy world and thinking what if with Dany. I think he knows he has nochance but doesn't mean he's going to approve this. All he wanted for Jon was to bend the knee, not bend Dany in bed.

They're not getting torn apart. There will be conflict, but it's not going to end them. I know they won't. Then why act like your opinion is the one vindicated when I also remember you saying that it would be in character for Jonto break things off with a Dany. Nothing about Jon to me indicates that he would just shrug off sleeping with his aunt. I 100% think that will effect him pretty hard. What happens after that, and especially if there's a baby involved, I don't know but I can't see him not being concerned. I'm pretty sure he'll want to end things with her after he finds our they're related. That is, until he finds out she's pregnant. Then his main motivation will be honour and he'll want them to get married so that he hasn't fathered a bastard.

I think both Jorah and Tyrion were full aware of where things were heading. Both likely hoping they were wrong, for different reasons. I do believe this is the angle they were going for, you're right. The fact they played Tyrion's concerned look as they were talking about how this relationship was going to complicate everything in the inside the episode talk confirmed it for me that Tyrion's not jealous (he did call it afterall that Jon was in love with her) he's very worried. He and everyone else (even Daenerys) gave Jon shit for not lying to Cersei ... remember? Jon may not be Ned's baby but damn he's most like Ned in nature... honest to a fault. Remember what Ser Aliser Thorne said? "You have a good heart Jon Snow. It'll get us all killed."

Jon and Dany being together just solidifies their bond, Tyrion shouldn't really have strong feelings about it one way or the other. But he is clearly not happy about what he sees and we're meant to understand this, they lingered on him doing this in two separate scenes. It's a big deal and sets up something for S8.
