I think it's deaths out of the box we haven't really considered are coming. I think there's a good chance we lose Arya or Sansa. It would be ironic to have Arya be the Lady of Winterfell and have to do the obligatory stuff to keep the house going. And her eventual marriage to Gendry Barentheon. I don't expect Bran to survive. Or he rides North of the Wall to re-establish 3ER. I'm hoping Jon and Daenerys stick around, but good chance Ghost and the dragons all go down too. If Jon and Daenerys die, I could see Ghost stick around watching over the heir.

I'm late weighing in on this poll, haven't really done a lot of Season 8 speculating on purpose. Focused on Season 7 until it was all over way too soon. I think Beric should have been included on this poll, why was he left off? As far as death potential goes, he has a far greater weigh-in than Gilly, for example. I pretty much voted the same as the most popular votes. There are some characters we're pretty sure are going to die based on foreshadowing over the years. There could be some shockers in there too for sure.

The only deaths that would completely shock me are Tyrion, Sansa and Bran. Everyone has a case for "maybe." Those three in my eyes were always safe.

Definitely: Cersei, Euron, Mel, and Varys.
Most likely: Tormund, Jorah, Gray Worm, Jaime, Sandor, and Yara
50/50: Jon, Dany, Bran, and Bronn

Expecting S8 to be a bloodbath because I'm a heartless bastard. Jaime, Cersei, Dany, Mel, Theon, Varys, Bronn, Tormund, and Euron. Maybe even Jorah. Though killing 10 series regulars off in one season would be a bit fucking nuts, so probably not all of them. But Cersei, Mel, and Euron I think are definite at least.

We expected far more of those you listed to die in Season 7 so the fact they've all made it to Season 8 does make me suspect a massive amount of deaths in Season 8 as well. It's The Great War after all, the pinnacle of the story. The one thing we've been leading up to in the epic journey of all these characters for so many years. The only one on your list I think might survive the whole thing is Bronn and only because he has to get the damn castle he was promised and has been a running joke for multiple seasons now.

Wonder how Varys dies if he dies. Maybe being in KL when it explodes?

I know a lot of people were disappointed that not a lot of people died in season 7. But many people are forgetting that D&D originally wanted GoT to end in season 7 instead of extending it to season 8 like the head of HBO wanted. So if the show ended in season 7, just imagine the bloodbath characters being killed left and right...

So if the show ended in season 7, just imagine the bloodbath characters being killed left and right... It's true, and we have to keep reminding ourselves that Seasons 7 and 8 were originally going to be one last season but since it's split in two, a lot of things are going to happen in 8 that would have happened in 7. I suspect that's why Cersei makes it to the final season too. I really don't want to lose so many like that at the very end, but that's how it looks like it's going to go.

Arya is a goner for sure. Her enmity with the Faceless Men at the end of season 6 is a loose thread that needs to be tied up. The smirk that Jaqen gave her at the end was probably his realization that they will have to put her down once she is done with taking vengeance.
Considering that the show usually ties up loose ends for important characters, i.e. Benjen, Arya will be eliminated by the FM towards the end of winter. This is foreshadowed in an un-subtle way during the first Jon chapter in AGOT.
