I want to know what's going on at 1:26 and 1:27 ... immediately after we get that close-up shot of Sansa...
That's Arya fighting with Needle, but where and what? Any ideas?

I take it back it's not Jon with a spear, It's Arya fighting the Undead with a spear or staff.

Then again, she did hold up a piece of dragonglass in the beginning so maybe they made her some sort of special staff or spear with it on the end ... which would also fit since she learned to fight that way against The Waif. I just asked about that scene... is she fighting undead? I froze the frames at 1:26 and 1:27 but I can't tell what she's fighting, it's dark and blurry.

It looks way too large to be Needle, it looks like a staff. I'm guessing she's fighting the undead at Winterfell but they haven't finished all the CG on it?

Yeah I'm guessing a lot of these action/fighting sequences we're seeing are not completely polished yet which is why they look so much more grainy/blurry than the cinematic shots we get of Cersei in the throne room and Jon/Dany with the dragons. Those are amazing and the fighting scenes are all dark and blurry which could be intentional to keep us guessing!

Yeah. Jon and Dany won't go north of the Wall. It seems she is just teaching him how to ride a dragon. I love this theory - what better way to embrace your roots than dragonride? Some assumptions based on the limited scenes we've been given, but I love that she appears to be taking a soft hand in helping him handle all this news - and I also love that she appears to have accepted this all much more quickly than Jon...which tells me she really does she them as a pair to rule...that she is no longer alone. Perhaps Jon's speech to her at the dragonpit about not being the last of the Targaryens is the root of it. If these two don't make it through to the end (and beyond) I will be gravely disappointed.

Thank you, that doesn't seem to be working now. I think it's back. imgur.com/a/HhL1lv1https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/axnmr2/someone_has_done_the_lords_work_screencapped_all/

Looks like Jorah has Heartsbane or a similarly massive sword.

Btw, to those saying they reckon Jon will ride Rhaegal - I wouldn't be shocked if he's already doing that in some of the closeups of Rhaegal flying and they have just digitally removed him (or not added him yet). HBO have form for that sort of thing in trailers.

I'm trying to decide realistically where Ghost could fit in to all of this without dying, I wonder if Bran will warg into him to scout where the dead are? He could do that with any animal/tree but if they really wanted to give him something to do. Or I suppose he could guard people in the crypts.

I agree! We saw the instant connection Jon had with Drogon in Season 7, so it's not much of a stretch to see him bonding with Rhaegal and learning to ride. I don't honestly think this means he's giving up his Stark heritage (or Ghost) at all. It just means he's coming to terms with the other side that he has never known and now needs to embrace if he's going to be the "Ice and Fire" needed to defeat The Night King. I also like how you put it that Daenerys is taking a softer approach to supporting Jon through this new territory of his identity. They show her slowly approaching him in the crypts where he's obviously trying to come to grips with the revelation of who he is by his Mother's tomb. Then we see her walking by his side (very purposefully) towards the dragons. To me, this is Daenerys accepting and encouraging Jon to find the other half of himself that has always been missing. I LOVE IT!

You’re forgetting Jones, hun im kidding, that ‘theory’ is terrible wut That’s what I get for trying to be snarky on IOS, Jonsa autocorrected to Jones Mind fucking blown. It looks incredibly cinematic. That’s my initial takeaway. Looks gorgeous. Yeah my immediate thought was this is gorgeous! What do you think Arya is up to in the beginning? She's indoor, in the crypts maybe and slightly injured, running away from someone or something. I thought it was her in the WF crypts presumably fleeing the dead but who knows. Looked like Varys and presumably the other non-combatantants were also down there. Wonder if maybe Arya was up there fighting and is running to warn them?
