Whatever it is that we get in this last four hours, D and D chose to end that threat now because they had something else in pocket. We might not be able to foresee what it is but our heroes aren't out of the woods yet by a long shot. Whatever Team Cersei has up their sleeve it will be a lot more than a simple denouement to the story. And it'll probably be bloodier than what we've seen so far this season.

And also wtf was the point of the Wight hunt since she didn't bother sending help and doesn't have to deal with the consequences? S7 really was trash in hindsight. Seeing the wight and witnessing Cersei's betrayal made Jaime leave and head for the north so there is that.

And it'll probably be bloodier than what we've seen so far this season. theres been a good handful dialogue in the last few episodes regarding the threat she poses. Everyone seems to be forgetting how dangerous she is. The Night King is just straightforward, Cersei is sneaky. Who knows what shit she’ll pull? The preview looks like peasants running towards the Red Keep, but she looks pleased. Wonder what that’s about.

As much as i was bitter by the episode, I'm glad that Cersei and her plans didn't go to waste for the WW plot. I'm now relieved to see more of Lena Headey's performances. Cersei has been an awesome character in the series and her being the endgame villain make sense considering her storyline.

Maisie was right when she said this is the season when female characters are playing the key role. I must admit, I love it just for the reactions of certain people.
About Cersei.
In a way, Cersei is a bigger threat than NK because people are underestimating her again and again and again. How many people died because they underestimated her intelligence, nastiness, how vengeful she can be.

I'll be honest and say I didn't like the NK dying so soon because it just proved that the south never had any reason to worry about the dead. I stand by that, but I think ending the series on a human conflict rather than a supernatural one is probably the right choice. This pretty much. Plus do we know if the WW had any way of crossing the Wall before Viserion? Because if not, it's really Jon's fault for fucking everything Though that's pretty Thrones-y I think. On another note, holy shit is r/gameofthrones a cringy place..

Posting this again because none of y'all took it seriously at the time and I was right. Probably missed it but you mean like this scene is still to come? It's in the 8x04 promo.

alcasinoroyale Stupid question of mine. Now I remember that debate, whether this and Tyrion scene (what look like ash on the ground could be Winterfell or KL), is still coming. The last episode might truly be an epilogue. Someone here or on reddit posted a few days ago what might be a basic description of the last three episodes. Could be a bunch of bs but it also might be accurate. 8x04 Aftermath of the battle + something else that I can't remember, it might have been Cersei. 8x05 Arya meets an old friend and another line that I can't remember. 8x06 Was an epilogue.

Hmm, but it would have been the South’s problem and they would have had to worry if not for Dany and Jon and their allies putting political maneuvering aside. I kind of like it actually as an idea - doing to right and noble thing is sometimes a thankless task, doing the right thing doesnt automatically mean you “win.” If they were as bitter and vindictive as Cersei the Kingdom would be Ice And also wtf was the point of the Wight hunt since she didn't bother sending help and doesn't have to deal with the consequences? S7 really was trash in hindsight. The point was to show that Cersei is a shitty queen and hopefully she'll get hers in the next episode. I mean what show have you been watching if you needed the wight hunt she-bang to tell you this?

And also the randomness how someone makes a bad decision and it gets them killed yet others make many of them and somehow survive. That's life for you.

What pics are leftover from the remaining episodes? Don’t we have Dany and Jon in Dragonstone still?
