Outside of Jaime and Brienne and Varys' discussion with Tyrion, this episode kind of sucked.
Going from NK back to Cersei feels like such a narrative regression. Cersei is old school GoT schemer without any of the clever political intrigue that made characters like Roose, Tywin or Olenna interesting. She's just evil Queen and it feels generic as fuck.
The stuff with Dany is good as well, but honestly, Euron lying in wait had 0 build up whatsoever, I can't remember any hints or references to a plan in E1... Maybe I'm wrong.

I really liked this episode, as opposed to being lukewarm on the one last week. This is the type of Thrones I like, and it didn't really sink in until the start of the episode just how few true friends Dany has in Westeros, and how alienated she must feel over here, especially now that Jorah is gone. I like this idea of coming to what you always thought was home, and only then realizing it is not your home at all.

Why can't Jon and Dany just marry? Seriously, that would have solve 80% of their problems and not a single person bring this up. That way Sansa got a Stark as a ruler, Jon can keep boning Dany, and both Jon and Dany can act as joint rulers without Dany worrying about her claim being taken away.

Euron bringing a dragon down is certainly from the books, though I imagine it will be better than that. How the fuck did Dany not see the Iron Fleet? I also really dislike if they had Jaime do a 180 and go back to Cersei's side. But with complaints out of the way, I liked the episode. The scheming with Varys and Tyrion was nice, as was the partying in the beginning. And shame on Jon for not even saying goodbye to Ghost. Yeah that scene was pathetic. He just sort of looked at him, which to be fair, is probably the most attention he's paid to ghost in about 3 years. Maybe D&D will pull a JK Rowling and tell us that off screen, Jon and Ghost have a very caring and active relationship?

I think Jaime was more doing a "cruel to be kind" thing to make sure Bri didn't follow him rather than regressing. Thankfully Bri's tougher than Ophelia.

SO yeah, Sansa swore eternal silence on Jon's secret identity. For like, what, 12 minutes before she blabbed? It defies belief that the showrunners and even GRRM keep defending and holding Sansa up like some paragon of brilliance and virtue. She's an asshole. I despised her in the books, I've despised her in the show.

And shame on Jon for not even saying goodbye to Ghost. I have never hated Jon until that moment. WTF, dude? The little wolf wimper about killed me. I know he's not a plushie, but geez, can someone at least pet the poor boy?! Yeah, that was bullshit. WTF Jon? He just sent Ghost away as if he got bored of him. Solid episode, I'm just not looking forward to what it's leading up to.

Apart from a couple of good scenes, what the fuck happened when they were writing the scripts. I mean I figured it would be an odd transition between both battle episodes, but And why wouldn't Dany use the dragons as scouts to see if Cersei and Euron have planned something. At least next week looks good, but this is probably the first time I lost interest.

I fucking hate her so much. Always have. And Jon can get fucked too. Dany literally begged him not to tell her and ofc the fucking idiot does. I’m so glad the only Stark I actually like fucked off out of that frozen shithole.

Jon didn’t even let Ghost, is the CGI that expensive?? Disappointed Cersei’s big return only included roughly 4 lines of dialogue. Half of them flirting with Euron. Loved the Euron ambush scene. Feel like it’s back to old school GoT with all the scheming and conspiring, but different. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Idk. Looooved the funeral scene and party scenes. Felt bad for Daenerys tho. I feel like she’s really trying so hard, and the North is just not reciprocating. Kind of frustrating. She looked so awkward when everyone was talking about Jon being a badass and riding a dragon as a King should. Like who tf did they think taught him how to ride the fucking dragon?? Gillys pregnant. That’s cute. Aryas gonna try to knife Cersei. Missandei’s execution was sad but powerful. I liked her final words. The negotiations as a whole were tense and very cinematic.

kind of sad to all of dany's friends/allies either die or turn on her 2 episodes ago, Dany is a just queen, now Varys wants to replace her cause of cock envy? He has a cock, the Wildlings like him and he's a war hero. Aside from the fact the people of Westeros hate Wildlings. Dany is a war hero from the same war and did more than Jon. Arya is all like yeah that's cool but we can't trust anyone, which is so contrived cause she turns around and trusts Tyrion. She trusts Brie, Theon, Gendry where the fuck is the logic. Then she's all happy Cersei will burn, but plots against the queen behind her back with Tyrion. So basiclly everyone betrays her including Jon because of what? Jesus Jon if you want to keep a secret start by keeping it. If you want to be honest just be honest. Fucking bitch move. Tyrion should of had Varys executed he literally knows he's plotting against Dany and does nothing. The scorpions are retarded, and Jesus she has like 80 Unsullied left. Everytime they go to see her fleets explode in seconds, first fucking fireballs and now this and yeah how the fuck do you miss the Iron fleet? She should of seen them over the damn Horizon. Thought ht the episode was well acted but the story is contrived dog shit. Varys forgets everything for a cock. Oh Jon is a war hero and the Wildlings like him. Ended slavery dipshit and the people worship her. Missy teleports into Cersei's lap, and Sansa plots against Dany cause nobody can ever be trusted except everyone but Dany. Cersei left the gates open to the courtyard and people just wandered in like stray cats, and even though the gates are still open two weeks later when Jon arrives the same fuckers are still in the fucking courtyard? And you heard it stated a fortnight till Jon arrives. D&D suck this just more subversion for the sake of being shocking and fuck off writing, that's to hard. They are going to destroy Dany for shock value. Just like the moronic episode three. At least they got the compression right this week. Fucking hacks, I can't believe how stupid those scorpions are AA guns couldn't do that shit.

Yeah true Bran could have been useful, but I think it was to showcase that if you head to another war too quickly, there will be consequences.
