The first forty minutes leading to the throne burning worked for me. Everything afterwards until the final montage didn't. No idea how to rate this episode.

10 just because the gods were good and finally gave me QitN. They even gave her a crown and a new throne. Never been her biggest fan, but I loved that. Shame they never gave Robb and Jon a crown and a throne, but better late than never I guess.

I'm not sure what I think lol. A lot of things were great and some things in second half of the episode felt really strange.
I think those comedy moments at small council didn't fit the tone of the episode at all. But I guess D&D wanted to pay tribute to those iconic scenes from the past. That didn't really work for me, first time watching.
It felt like that commercial with Tyrion and Cersei lol
And I hoped for a much stronger speech to sell King Bran.

That didn't really work for me, first time watching. Yeah, I liked seeing who showed up on the small council, loved Brienne finishing Jaime's page, but somehow the banter fell flat, a little forced? I'm sure it was meant to lighten the mood, and it did, but just seemed a little off balance.

Overall, I loved it. It was quiet, reflective, and overall beautifully done. Considering how darkly things were positioned at the end of last week, this is about as hopeful of an ending as I could have asked for. I'll give it a 9 to start. It may go up after I watch it again. It's unlikely to go down. Everything up through the moment when Drogon melted the Iron Throne and flew off with Dany's body was tight as a wire and note-perfect. The second half of the episode was a bit more sprawling as they sought to tie up all of the loose ends, but I'm fine with that. It's in keeping with the nature of epilogue-type storytelling. And the ending was well worth it. I love that Arya is going west of Westeros (I was certain that was her endgame ever since she mentioned it back in Season 6). I love that Sansa is finally Queen in the North … although it’s somewhat bittersweet for her with all of her family dispersed. And Jon’s end is also quite perfect. I like to believe that he’s heading back to the real North to stay with the Free Folk – with the White Walkers gone, there’s no true need for the Night’s Watch (I thought that was more of a way to definitively assert that he had renounced his claim to the Iron Throne). That final montage of the three of them on their parallel journeys was very well done. And Bran as King makes sense – Tyrion gave good reasoning why he was the best choice, especially at this point in time. A Time for Wolves, indeed. That Jon-Tyrion scene was fantastic. Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage are definitely my acting co-MVPs for the episode. I thought Dany’s end was heartbreaking … but that’s part of the inherent tragedy of her character. I'm still personally torn up about how it all ended for her, but considering that this was the direction that the character was always intended to go, I was satisfied with how well it played (and Emilia Clarke ... bow down. Start her Emmy campaign already. She deserves to win, IMO).
I also loved that small grace note of Brienne finishing Jaime’s entry in the White Book of the Kingsguard. “Died protecting his Queen” … perfect. And Ser Podrick Payne … hell yes. It's about damn time. So, overall, a beautiful, reflective – dare I say bittersweet? – end to an all-time great show. I honestly don’t believe that I will ever love another show as much as I love this one. It was truly a once in a lifetime thing. So thank you, Game of Thrones. Thank you for everything! (Also, the direction and cinematography in this episode? Fucking gorgeous. That shot of Dany with Drogon’s wings behind her and everything in the destroyed throne room … astonishing. My deepest respects to David and Dan … they did great!)

(Though actually there were a couple of scenes from the book that I could have sworn were part of the tv series, but, sadly, not.)

I'm just gonna go ahead and give it a 10. Like, I don't know how to rationally explain it because I do still have major issues with the writing of these last three episodes ... but it was so beautifully executed. I loved it.

I absolutely adored every second of it and it addressed every concern I had. Dany's fate was heartbreaking but they delivered all the information that was needed to explain her motivation. Maybe they should have communicated everything better in 805. It would have made things easier. But 806 completely made up for that. The writing truly convinced me. Drogon not burning the man who killed his mother but the throne that consumed her. Wow.
The second half of the episode was satisfying to me on so many levels as well. It was not nihilistic like so many of us feared. Scarred people and lots of hope. Bittersweet is the right word.
Easiest 10/10.
