So this is the thread to discuss spoilers (and leaks too?) of the finale? I just finished listening to this for the first time and I'm absolutely blown away. It's gorgeous: I can't wait for the scene that features this. I can's stop listening to that track. Truly haunting, any scene with that music is guaranteed to be epic.

He's uploaded the bonus tracks too now. This one we've yet to hear. Guess it'll play over the Ned and Lyanna scene.

Wow that's definitely sad music fitting for TOJ scene. At least the ending sounds very triumphant and blends into Stark theme!

Hype is intensifying over on reddit for this finale. Where the battles of Meereen and Snowbowl were a massive and very epic centralized focal point for 6x09, 6x10 is going to be epic for completely different reasons ... massive drama is about to play out in at least half a dozen locations all at once in a massive 70 minute binge. I was going to type out the list of hype points but I'll just quote the guy who did it far better anyways on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/comments/4pehgg/spoilers_everything_my_hype_has_reached_11/ Because of how huge the post is, I'm putting it in spoiler tags. The only bits I disagreed with were point 9 and 11.

ToJ reveal and Dany sailing for Westeros in the same episode? Damn right get hype! No Wall coming down, though I'm not sure 14 episodes of the WW running amok in Westeros was realistic anyway. It will probably close out season 7 or part 1, however they're doing it.

Is it the general consensus here that Cersei nuking the Sept (and the chaos-fallout from that) will be the final closing scenes? Or...?

I think the final scene will be Dany sailing for westeros, just purely based on the music Ramin composed for "The Winds of Winter" track. Although I think Cersei nuking the sept could potentially be the scene before.

^ I've seen speculation at Reddit that 'Light of the Seven' would be the final track, or do we know that's not so? It's actually a pretty funny ironic title if its used to 'light up' the Sparrows.

Dany finally sailing for Westeros is a much bigger deal than Cersei burning the Sept imo. Now if Cersei torched the entire city, that would be worthy of being the final scene, but I don't think that's going to happen quite yet.

They usually like to end each season with an ice or fire themed scene. S1 and S3 were both Dany. S2 was White Walkers, S4 was Arya (but she's a Stark so that could just be ice), S5 was FtW so that's also ice, S6 could then be Dany sailing for Westeros or Cersei blowing up the sept given one involves fire and the other represents Fire and Blood. But I think the former is more likely.

We haven't heard a word from, or about, Jorah since he wandered off to find a cure. Any thoughts that he might pop up somewhere in 6x10? I've had this niggling thought that if it was me, and I had greyscale, I'd head to the center of that world's collected knowledge, The Citadel library. It'd be interesting to have a bit of interaction between Jorah and Sam, though I don't know that 6x10 will have the time for it. I'd like to see it, though.

I'm also really excited about seeing Oldtown. Along with Braavos, I think it's the most interesting city in ASoIaF.
It does seem like the ideal place for Jorah to pop up. I would like to see him meet a Westeros character. Sam is the obvious choice.

I think it's more likely to see Jorah again in 7x01. His arc this season feels more complete by ending with him riding out to find a cure, rather than arriving in a place where he might find a cure.
