I'm in the North (of my continent anyways) We say "pop"
I actually alternate which one I use, I refer to the drink itself as "soda" but if I see a vending machine, it's a pop machine.
Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner. I hate the word "supper" people seem to use it in place of dinner here.
Dinner just sounds better.

My username is so obvious, there's just no need to explain it. I belonged to a Harry Potter forum for years, plus, I'm a tile artist and during those years had an online shop where I sold handpainted Potter-y (see what I did there?) tiles. I've had the name for so long it feels like my actual name.
Sunday brunch is just the best thing evah. And a special, OOAK occasion for when you want to impress someone you're dating. Many nice hotels in the U.S. offer Sunday brunch, usually from 10am-ish to 1pm-ish. The dining room is dressed up in full regalia, tablecloths, flowers, soft music, the works. You and your date get all dressed up, are shown to a table, chair pulled out for the lady. Silver coffeepot, freshly-squeezed orange juice in fluted stemmed wine glasses, a long elegant buffet to choose from. At most hotels that offer this, it will be called the Sunday Champagne Brunch, and yes, you can sip champagne with your scrambled eggs and sausages.

Supper reminds me of how people talk in westerns. It's definitely dinner to me. And pop instead of soda.

My name is my name (well shortening of my last name). I've had some good ones in past forums, but just decide to use mattpeto all the time now. I'm a simple and boring creature. Hear, hear, mattpeto . . .

I think we should get back to the original purpose of the thread. If you want to discuss regionalities then we can start a new bread.

I picked Lovely Lyanna because she had brown hair, she loved horses. I believe there is a passage where Roose Bolton remembers Lyanna Stark as beautiful and a great rider. She was half horse he said. I loved that so I picked Loveley Lyanna.

My name is a reference to both Gundam and Nanoha Takamachi. She was labeled The White Devil as an homage to Amuro Ray from the first Gundam series.
Yes, I'm an Otaku to some degrees and proud of it,

lawd. 5pm is not lunch, that is dinner 12pm is lunch. If the sun is still up that ain't dinner to me Me too (though summer changes it slightly, with longer hours of daylight). Usually I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast then have tea sometime between 8.30 and 10 (depends on my schedule really). I don't really tend to snack much, though I sometimes have some fruit in the afternoon. Oops, forgot to post the story behind my name. Well I'm a Targ fan, and have assumed various names over the years in different websites. So I decided to combine the two, I'm a Targ (fan) by another name (from what I would use elsewhere) And I guess it also has ASOIAF connections as it could refer to, for example, the Blackfyres, Aeron Brightflame, Jon Snow, or my personal favourite non-main character, Brynden Rivers (a Targ by another name indeed)
