Favourite Scene/LocationTough one here. I'll go with the scene between Robert and Ned. It's just perfect to me. A close second is the short scene where Ned says goodbye to Jon. Again, perfect. Favourite Character/ActorFavourite Line/QuoteEverything Ned said to Jon: " You are a Stark. You might not have my name, but you have my blood." "The next time we see each other, we'll talk about your mother, hm? I promise." Least Favourite SceneThe unnecessary scene of Drogo raping Dany. Honestly, it was less than a minute and there was no Essos scene immediately before or after it. It's incredibly uncomfortable to watch. Least Favourite CharacterJoffrey. Three years without him made me forget how much of a prick this kid is. Fuck Joffrey.

Though I would put Arya as a close second for Favorite Character, especially during her scene with Joffrey, Sansa and Mycah. This episode reminded me once again of how great Mark Addy really was as Robert.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: No doubts about it - Jon and Arya at Winterfell when he presented her with Needle. Pure brother/sister adoration and I so want them to meet again. When she throws herself into his arms, that's what the Starks are - family.
2. Favorite Character / Actor: Much as I hate to admit it - Catelyn Stark. Her devotion to Bran, to the exclusion of all else including her youngest defines her, the Mother Wolf, whose need to have her daughters back drove her later to commit treason by releasing Jamie Lannister.
3. Favorite Line / Quote: "It is known."
4. Least Favorite Scene: As you can tell by my user name, it's Lady being sacrificed in Nymeria's place to satisfy Cersei Lannister's need to avenge her son's dog bite. I almost wish Ramsey's dogs could be the ones to rid us of the Lion Queen one and for all.
5. Least Favorite Character: Cersei. This episode really shows the different faces of our favorite queen mother. The fear when informed that Bran Stark would not die. Her confession to Catelyn about losing her first child, complete with teary eyes. And the whole matter of Joffry and Nymeria really sealed Cersei's fate so far as I was concerned.
Overall it's a good episode, a solid follow up to 1x01. Ned is headed South, where the sun is warmer and the weather milder. But danger lurks within their own party, and already the cracks in the previously solid Stark family are showing. We were impressed with their family unity when all were together in Winterfell, but the moment they split apart things begin going wrong.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Really had to think about this one because there's a LOT of great, emotional scenes in this episode. I'm going to go with Jon and Arya's emotional good-bye as well. I'm such a huge fan of both of them as the "misfits" in the story and how close they were. Needle would come to represent such a strong tie to home for Arya that she couldn't even give it up entirely to join the Faceless Men later. I'm glad she didn't and that it has served her well so many times including ridding her of The Waif once and for all - enabling her to become herself again and go home! 2. Favorite Character / Actor: To me, this episode really belonged to Ned, front to back. Sean Bean killed it with the steely emotions Ned is famous for as well as the slight quiver in his voice when he told Jon they'd talk about his Mother the next time they met. Gave me a lump in my throat especially now that we've seen him as a young man in the Tower of Joy and the huge burden he's had to bear all of Jon's life. Confronting Robert both about the Targaryens, refusal to talk about Jon's Mother, then again in the Inn ... "What is the meaning of this? Why was my daughter not brought to me immediately?!" ... so moving and full of raw emotion. And finally the heavy emotion he displayed in executing Lady brought me to tears. I've always respected Ned's character despite the many mistakes he made - but it's only now after re-watching do I appreciate him ten-fold more and Sean Bean for making him perfect. 3. Favorite Line / Quote: "A trader from Qarth told me that dragons come from the moon. He told me the moon is an egg, Khaleesi. That once there were two moons in the sky. But one wandered too close to the sun and it cracked from the heat and out of it poured a thousand thousand dragons and they drank the sun's fire." - Doreah
4. Least Favorite Scene: When Jon comes to say good-bye to Bran, tells him he's joining the Night's Watch, and Catelyn is cruel to him by saying "I want you to leave." and Ned is standing there in the background listening to it all. It's one of the few times I disliked Ned because the first time I watched this scene I felt like he was being so terrible to not stick up for Jon and how this poor kid has endured a lifetime of being despised by her for something Ned didn't even do and wasn't his own fault. I still don't blame Catelyn nor have I ever hated her for it but it was one of those scenes that made me uncomfortable and yes that means it was well done but I just wish she could have been civil to him at least there in the end when she knew he was leaving anyways. 5. Least Favorite Character: Joffrey. This was the first time I knew I was going to truly hate him more than I did even in the books. Again, this is a testament to great casting of Jack Gleeson and amazing acting on his part as well.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: toss up betwee. Cat and Cersei talking in Bran's room or Jon giving Arya Needle.
2. Favorite Character / Actor: Arya, but Robert cracked me up with "God bless Bessie and her tits."
3. Favorite Line / Quote: "Sansa can keep her sewing needles. I have a Needle of my own."
4. Least Favorite Scene: Dany rape again. Ugh, I'm glad this was the last time.
5. Least Favorite Character: Joffrey, the twat.

1. Favorite Scene / Location: Jon giving Arya Needle at Winterfell.
2. Favorite Character / Actor: Arya
3. Favorite Line / Quote: "Sansa can keep her sewing needles, I have a needle of my own"
4. Least Favorite Scene: Jon and Cat. Tough scene to watch. Dany's sex scene was also tough to watch, but I liked that this was the first time we see her looking to her dragons eggs for strength. Her bond with them started before they were even hatched, books and show.
5. Least Favorite Character: Joffrey. Dishonorable mention to Sansa.

Favorite scene: Tyrion "reads" on the way to the Wall. An iconic scene. Again, I'd forgotten how brilliant Peter Dinklage was in this role. The sharp divide between North and South was never better drawn than in this scene. Runner-ups: Ned and Robert in the open country; Arya's "trial".
Favorite performance/role: Michelle Fairley as Cat. The first glimpses of her genius as an actress. Her scene with Bran and Jon is tremendous; that's what sheer devastation looks like. She is also the protagonist of another great scene (the attempt on Bran's life), which evokes her transformation at the Red Wedding in a major way. Dinklage, Donald Sumpter, Sean Bean, Mark Addy, Lena and Sophie Turner also great this round.
Least favorites: Again, I like every scene. I suppose I don't love the Essos bits quite as much as Westeros but they're still super-enjoyable. I don't hate any character yet.... don't worry, just wait for Aidan Gillen to pop up.

Favorite Scene / Location: Jon and Arya goodbye. There are so many great scenes, but this one makes me tear up every time.
Favorite Character / Actor: Arya. But also Ned and Cat.
Favorite Line / Quote: "Sansa can keep her needles, I got a needle of my own." Seriously, a AryaxSansa/AryaxJon reunion is everything I want for S7.
Least Favorite Scene: Dany and the handmaidens. A little too much 'It is known'. Though I like the following scene with Doreah only.
Least Favorite Character: The Joffrey hate began.
