Stop this nonsense and give us TWOW already. Considering the book has been written for 20 years and GRRM isn't much of an artist, I'm pretty sure this isn't impeding his progress on TWOW in any way. |

Happy 20th Anniversary Game of Thrones!! Can't believe it's been that long ago now I read the first book. Wow. My eldest son was just a wee baby of 2 and now he's a grown adult enjoying the story himself as a second generation ASOIAF fan.  |

This is an old series at heart - not Tolkien old, but all of the wonderful mysteries were alive and breathing before D&D took the wheel. When I go back and re-read Ned's POV chapters, there are so many hints that he's holding back some major truths. I love that we are finally getting those answers 20 years later.
GRRM started this story 20 year ago and D&D get to finish it for him in 2 years. I hope we get GRRM's version of the ending too.

Maybe things will ease up for you and you can binge-watch the first half again to catch up. It's been great so far - so many things I'd forgotten from six seasons ago! I wish more people would join in. We have such a different perspective on the story now and with R+L=J finally confirmed, it makes re-watching all those little clues so much better. How protective Ned was of Daenerys as Jon's relative - it was wonderful. |

I have found that audiobooks are the perfect way to make my work commute times meaningful. I'm about 3/4 done ACOK. Roy Dotrice is splendid for the first 3 audiobooks and then he starts sounding his age in AFFC and ADWD. But still a great way to get through ASOIAF. |

I have to watch the episode prior to Sunday to give her a heads up when to turn her head (she doesn't do well with blood/violence). It's a slow grind but I'm loving it. We won't be done until April (or June if we re-watch Season 6 at that time) |

But I laugh everytime he echoes PEET-er instead of PE-tire and KATE-LYN instead of CATLYN. He also uses his terrible girl voice for Daenerys in ADWD where he uses his standard voice from 1-3. |

I hope we do too, but at this point, if we get TWOW before next season starts, then we're probably looking at 2022 or 23 before we could even expect ADOS |
