It's going to be okay, Konrad. Please don't be in mourning for MeliJondre/MeliSansa for 10 months. There's still hope. Not with this Davos cockblocker hanging about, there's not. Now I'm left wondering whether the woman with the white fire in her hands in the Aeron TWOW chapter is Mel or Cersei. s6 pretty much confirmed it's not Dany. So whoever it was, them plus Euron is my new ship. Davos had a right to be upset with Mel though. But yeah this is setting up Mel to meet Arya again. I think if the woman had green fire in her hands it would be Cersei, so maybe it's Mel.

I can't watch the episode until later today (I could, but the quality would be horrible and laggy), but from what I understood
1) Jaime returns to KL and sees Cersei on the IT? (Great parallel to Ned finding Jaime there)
2) Benjen leaves Bran
3) Cersei is the one who gets a crown, not Jon or Dany
4) Episode ends with Dany leaving to Westeros
5) No Jon vs Sansa (a shame, that would've been good)

BTW for what it's worth, for people complaining about Varys being in the last scene, Dany had Tyrell and Martell ships in her armada for that last scene as well. So it stands to reason that a significant amount of time had passed in it from when we saw her prior. The fleets probably met in the middle in the Narrow Sea or something. Anyhow, noticing the rose and the sun-and-spear sails in a rewatch, makes it all make quite a bit more sense.
EDIT: Also regarding the logistics of Arya and the new face, it's pretty damn plausible that she snatched it from the HoBaW when she left. Not that I want the magic in this show to be too defined because, really, too many rules make magic lose its...magic. But I think that's more likely than her killing some poor beauty for her face.

I haven't seen the episode, I have only watched one scene and you can guess what scene that is. I love D&D again.

I keep watching the Tower of Joy scene over and over again and I can't stop crying and it gets worse every time I watch it. God, they did an amazing job with that, it's so fucking effective.

I dunno how tasteless this is but the phrase "the September of Baelor 11th was an inside job" is quite funny to me.

I love btw that Dany was storing Tyrion's Hand of the Queen pin in her cleavage. That's why Tyrion kneeled immediately afterword.

Can't wait to watch again ... So many little details I couldn't see well on phone screen. Like I totally missed that both Martell and Tyrell sails were mixed in with the fleet. Also want to see that epic wildfire explosion in HD. WOW. Loved how Dany had the hand pin in her cleavage haha. I am pretty sure Tyrion has fallen in love with her too. How convenient he had her get rid of both Jorah and Daario.

I liked the Lancel subplot this episode. It was entirely unnecessary and didn't change anything. But Lancel finally lived up to his Lannister roots and saw something was wrong, and he went in to figure it out and tried to stop it.
I thought giving Qyburn Pycelle's death was appropriate, especially since the show played up the rivalry between those two. I do wonder what Qyburn thinks of these events. Back when Qyburn was traveling with Jaime, he justified his human experimentation by saying that the medical techniques he learned helped him to save many more lives than he destroyed. And in his earlier scene with the children, Qyburn was benevolent rather than terrifying. But this turn of events can only be justified as a homicidal power grab - Qyburn coordinated the wildfire and doesn't seem to have had a problem with doing that.
Actually, speaking of henchmen, I wonder what Bronn will think of this whole turn of events. He probably doesn't care much about the morality of using wildfire on a civilian population. But he's going to see Cersei's power as tenuous, which means that Jaime's ability to deliver on his promises is also tenuous. This would be the point to bail on the Lannisters, but they probably will be in the mood to offer him a massive promotion to stay.
In past seasons, having almost every named Kings Landing character die would have been a problem, because Cersei wouldn't have anybody left to interact with. But at this point, Cersei doesn't even want to interact with anybody but Jaime, so her isolation from a vibrant mesh of characters is appropriate.
I'm bummed out about Margaery. I had hoped she would be one of the people rebuilding the world at the end of this thing. Poor Olenna. A while ago, I joked that if things continued as they had been, Westeros would be ruled by Olenna and a bunch of teenagers. We just got a lot closer to that.
Where do we think Dany will land? She now has enough political support within Westeros to choose her landing from a military, rather than diplomatic, perspective.
So the politics of Westeros as it currently stands:
Dornish and Tyrell armies have been raised and are ready to support Dany's invasion.
Baratheons are officially extinct.
With the death of Walder and his top sons, the Riverlands is thrust back into political turmoil. The Freys might just start killing each other, and the BWB still hasn't made their big anti-Frey move. So maybe Edmure ends up back in control of the Riverlands eventually. Or some Frey guts him to prevent that eventuality.
Jon is going to want to move all of his forces up to the Wall, it sounded like? But I'm guessing it will take some convincing to get the Knights of the Vale to commit to manning the Wall during the Winter.
Euron is still at large. I'm betting that he will somehow get a dragon.
Should we take this season as evidence against the Tyrion dragon-rider theory? Tyrion had rapport with the dragons in the early season, but didn't spend his time in Mereen working toward dragon-riding, didn't design a saddle, and I doubt that Dany sees much need to promote more dragon riders, who would be direct challenges to her authority.
I wonder if Olenna will turn out to be a problem for Dany. Dany will probably underestimate Olenna. But also, Olenna doesn't particularly like Targaryans and their personalities will clash. Also Olenna has little to lose and her agenda probably won't line up perfectly with Dany's.
Is it possible for LF to have a redemption arc? In the books, I thought Stannis' redemption would be that he would go out in a meaningful way against the White Walkers. What if LF ended up having a heroes death to protect others. Could that happen?

Do you think we'll definitely never see Daario again, I mean he's main cast, he could be back someway.
