My guess is Episode 3. I assume that after Jon and Davos arrive at Dragonstone, Dany receives news that Jaime and the Lannister army have taken Highgarden. On the road to King's Landing, the Lannisters are escorting all of the Tyrell goods in wagons to bring back to King's Landing in order to feed the people and then Dany, her dragons, and the Dothraki attack surprisingly. This is also likely when Randyll and Dickon die by dragonfire after they refuse to bend the knee to Dany. But considering there's an unexpected fallout (Jaime's escape), she decides to go back to Dragontone and rethink her strategy like you said. Dany returns from battle and Jon pets Rhaegal and she's like "Oh shit, my dragons are calm around Jon." Jon and Dany go into the caves beneath Dragonstone and find the dragonglass. Theon arrives at Dragonstone and Jon yells at him for the defeat against Euron in the naval battle and later says he would be dead if it wasn't for saving Sansa. Tyrion then tells Dany that he'll go to King's Landing to meet with Jaime and Bronn convincing them to surrender and he also decides to bring Davos with him. And I pretty much just repeated the leak. But this is starting to sound more plausible as you put all of the pieces together. Was that bit about the wagons coming back from Highgarden with food and attacked by Dany/Dragons part of a leak or you just made that up? (sorry I know this isn't leak thread but you said you were repeating the leak!) I'm so cofused. Was that bit about the wagons coming back from Highgarden with food and attacked by Dany/Dragons part of a leak or you just made that up? (sorry I know this isn't leak thread but you said you were repeating the leak!) I'm so cofused. It was in the leaks, IIRC. The leaker said that Jaime will sack Highgarden, allow Olenna to drink poison after she confess to killing Joffrey and being attacked in his way back to King's Landing. Was that bit about the wagons coming back from Highgarden with food and attacked by Dany/Dragons part of a leak or you just made that up? (sorry I know this isn't leak thread but you said you were repeating the leak!) I'm so cofused. Look at barristanwhitebeard's post for a better response. I'm not sure the leaker had that information initially. Remember we got the report from WoW about the ambush and the Lannister involvement back in September and the leakers first prediction was not Dany's attack but Jon's suppose ill faded attack on King's Landing. The correction came later which happen sometime one early October.

Yeah, I forgot that pic with the Unsullied taking away Jon's and his crew weapons. That's definitely the moment when he is about to be escorted to the queen. And Tyrion was at the beach, and he is supposed to be besides Dany in the battlefield, so it looks like the battle is after Jon's arrival. The only thing that bothers me, if it happens this way, is the fact that Jon and Dany would spend very little time together. If he arrives in Episode 3, and she leaves in Episode 4, they will barely know each other. I'm with you. I don't see the use of having Jon arrive as Dany leaves given the amount of time it would take everyone else but Dany to travel to and from The Reach. Additionally, why not just delay Jon's arrival until Dany's return? What is the use of brining Jon south if you're going to sepereare them a hot minute after their first meeting. Dany's army is enormous she could leave a substantial presence behind at Dragonstone while still taking a good amount of people to the Reach with her. I just hope they don't play it again like Dany needs Tyrion to guide her by the hand. Like she didn't get all the fucking way to where she is without his help. That's the one reason I don't like my own speculation. I was just thinking of an alternate scenario as to why Dany and Tyrion are absent from Theon's arrival back to Dragonstone, but they could really just be inside the castle. I do like the idea of Dany returning from battle on Drogon as Jon and Davos are on the walls though. And if Dany returns in Episode 3, it gives her a lot more time to spend getting to know Jon and Davos.

That would be very cool and she's probably going to be in a bit of a fiery mood if it happens that way. It can still happen the way you say but the logistic of moving everyone but Dany back and force from the Reach would be contrive to say the least. Also, if the show wants them to spend time together which they do if they are bringing them together, why cut the time short. But who knows how the show will mesh everything together. We'll have a better idea by January, I think.

The only thing that's throwing both of our speculations off is it said in the WotW article that the battle will take place in the mid-season, but is directed by Mylod. And in that case, the battle could potentially be the opening of Episode 3 instead of the last 20 minutes or so of Episode 2. But then I could also see Jon and Davos arriving at Dragonstone as the first scene of Episode 3, so this is still a bit confusing.

There is a interesting article in Spanish press today in which they interview the Spanish producer. He explained how they tried during preproduction to negociate with the owners of the land from which paparazzi took the filming photos but they asked for waaay more money of what they were willing to give them. So at the end ,they decided to film there anyway because the place fit perfectly for what they needed but at the same time move to Ireland a couple of scenes that will be too revealing. I really wonder what will happen in those scenes that they considered "too revealing" to be filmed In Zumaia.

The only time I can see unsullied is when they were filming with Podeswa. After that they disappear.

I've just gone through all of the set photo's and the unsullied only appear in what one must presume to be episode one due to it being Podeswa directing.
