Do you have a show that you watched and now that the series or even just the season is over, you wonder why in the world you watched it?
I am not talking about hate watching. LOL I know people do that. I am talking more about a show that you watched it all and then you wonder why you watched it because you really were not that crazy about it. For me the first thing that comes to mind is Sons of Anarchy. I watched all of that and I have no idea why. I liked the first season. I have a minor in Elizabethan Literature, so the whole Hamlet thing intrigued me, but honestly that show got so bad, I have no idea why I finished it. Habit? Curiosity? I don't know why I was curious. Everybody dies in Hamlet, so it's not like I couldn't see it coming.

I usually just stop watching something if I'm not enjoying it anymore (crazy idea isn't it Rant & Ravers? ), but one show that I can't seem to drop is The Big Bang Theory. I've watched 10+ season and I feel like I have to see it through. It's nowhere near as funny as it was in the earlier seasons, but I just can't quit at this point.

I quit Big Bang a couple of seasons ago, I couldn't do it anymore. I Understand the time you invest in a series, you want a payoff for that but sometimes you have to walk away. I can't remember the last series I watched till the bitter end. I love Buffy but the last few season were crazy, that's probably the last show I watched like that. Usually once it looses my interest I walk away.

I wonder frequently why I'm still watching The Walking Dead, but the most baffling is how I didn't quite True Blood after the clusterfuck that was their 5th season.

Hubby and I stuck with How I Met Your Mother AND Two and a Half Men for way longer than needed, but honestly, there wasn't anything else on at those time slots for quite a while. Also the Hubby had TiVO and can record multiple channels, so we've watched more bad series than the average person.

I was too invested in the characters (or rather what the characters used to be) to walk away and I didn't even admit how bad it was towards the end untill some time after the show ended But I drop a lot of shows, if I notice I have no real intrest in it or find myself complaining about every episode then I just let it go.

Once Upon a Time. I started watching because I'm a big LOST-ee and the same guys that did Lost did this one. It was 'fairly good' the first couple of years, 'fair' the next couple after that, but it's been horrible for the last two years. It sits on my list of recorded shows, and usually before the week is over, I've watched it while I'm eating lunch or something, just because it's there. But it's horrible, awful, improbably, corny - just terrible. And I watch . . .

Heroes It started off pretty strong in its first season and then it just became a fucking mess by the end of its run, but I still kept with it.

True Blood for sure. Ive quit on better shows Ah, True Blood. I will never understand how Alan Ball could go from American Beauty and Six Feet Under to something like that. Aren't you supposed to do the mass appeal piece of shit first to be able to then do your more artful passion projects? Ball did it the other way around.

I still watch it too but pretty much just for Hook Heroes It started off pretty strong in its first season and then it just became a fucking mess by the end of its run, but I still kept with it. I even watched the reborn-series when it came out Just because the beginning was so good and because Peter Petrelli is bae of course.

True Blood. Oh man that show. I can't believe how badly the quality dropped after S4. I'm still bitter Eric and Sookie never got to be endgame. Me too I really think the fact that Anna and Stephen are married prompted the writers to make Bill more important to Sookie's love life. It suffered because of that, IMO. (Well, the show suffered because of a lot of things, but that was one of them) If Sookie didn't get with Eric, Sam was always my 2nd choice. Bill was never part of the equation.
