Anyone here watch Black Mirror? I'm thinking about starting it. I've seen the first season at least and maybe an episode or two from the second season, can't really remember. It's weird, the first episode is superweird but I do like the show I just can't find the time to watch more of it.

Anyone here watch Black Mirror? I'm thinking about starting it. I think breakfest does. I watched most of the eps but haven't finished it. Too creepy and engrossing to really binge imo.

Hells yes @nictarion definitely start, you won't regret it. I agree that you shouldn't really binge it, certainly no more than one episode per day, it helps to give yourself time to stew over what you've seen. Sometimes it's a massive mindfuck, or it will be tough to watch, but most episodes will force a strong reaction. The new series less so, although episode 4 might be my favourite of them all. Because it's an anthology you can watch any episode in any order but I'd recommend just starting from the beginning, the earliest episodes pack the biggest punch. If you can get through the first season you'll probably know whether it's for you.

Just finished Black Mirror...holy fuck what a fantastic show. Despite it being extremely bleak I didn't really have a problem binging it (watched all 3 seasons in 3 nights). My favorite episodes were 15 Million Merits and San Junipero. The latter might be the best episode, which was a nice suprise as it started out really slowly and I even debated turning it off. Glad I didn't.

Glad I didn't. Yes man! Those are also my two favourite episodes. San Junipero was a level above in the new season. Didn't expect the show to wring so much tenderness out of a story that could easily have ended as horribly as many episodes of this show do. Made it all the better that it was Black Mirror doing this. Best TV episode of the year for me.

I think I need to watch Black Mirror. Do it! If you do just try not to be too put off by the first episode (National Anthem). It's easily the worst of the series, imo. There's a handful of episodes that will blow your mind though. I love the one off format too, as it allows all these big stars (John Hamm, Bryce Dallas Howard, etc) to do the show.

I watched National Anthem yesterday and I thought it was ok, although a bit unrealistic. They could have done a better job at making the central plot point more plausible. I will continue watching.

I started watching Black Mirror ... just finished episode 4. I'm loving it, every single episode so far was great, but Be Right Back was my favourite. It was an absolutely fascinating exploration of grief - equally touching as it was disturbing. Great acting, too. I didn't realize until I finished it that Ash was played by Bill Weasley. Fifteen Million Merits was probably my least favourite so far. I still enjoyed it, but I thought it was a little bit too over-the-top satirical and science-fictiony for me to take it seriously, and the ending was kind of underwhelming.

You should give it another shot, the third one was great, too!

Be Right Back was solid, not one of my favorites, but I really like Domhnall Gleeson so I enjoyed it just for him.
