I'm still convinced that Jon will have to kill Dany at the end. Nissa Nissa was put in the books for a reason. And I think that's the third big twist that D&D promised. I just don't see Dany ruling in the end. Drogon is Lightbringer, the metaphorical Nissa.Nissa already happens. I don't think so. That's the same like claiming that Quentin is prophesied by Mirri Maz Duur. And Nissa was introduced in the story after the dragons were born.

i don't think dany is going to get pregnant by boatsex. if she got pregnant then, then she couldn't fight in the battles of season 8. i think its much MUCH more likely that she'll get pregnant near the end of season 8 and then the episode after that will have a little bit of a time jump and just show her with her bb. something like her finding out she's pregnant in 8x05 and then we see her with her baby in 8x06. Not having watched the season I can't say for sure, obviously. But given what we know I'm pretty sure it'll happen during boatsex and the time-jump will happen early next season. Maybe second or third episode. "Only death pays for life" right? I think it will happen during boat sex too. It's taking place during these huge moments, like the Wall coming down and Jon's parentage being revealed. There's a big purpose to it and I think it's her pregnancy.

I just don't see Dany ruling in the end. Drogon is Lightbringer, the metaphorical Nissa.Nissa already happens. GRRM makes a point by saying that prophecies are never literal. He always tells the story of the knight (king?) that was told he'd die at a specific castle. The man avoids that castle to try and keep the prophecy from coming true. When he's injured and dying, he's taken to an inn that has the picture (or name, I can't remember) of that specific castle. So it was true, but not as literally as it was made out to be. I have to agree with moiaf. Lightbringer has already been made. Dany sacrificed Drogo to bring her children life, so in effect, using him to bring lightbringer. The idea of Jon having to kill Dany is just a bit too literal.

Since I don't think that Dany will rule in the end I can't think of a more powerful way for her to die than to convince Jon to kill her to save the world.
That would give such a powerful and tragic end to their love that will be remembered forever. I can't think of anything like that in pop culture recently, in any movie or TV show.

I'd prefer Dany on the throne at the end, but I could see her dying, too. I want Jon to die again, but I don't think he will lol.

What would killing Dany achieve exactly? Is Longclaw going to burst into flames and allow Jon to defeat the NK with a flaming sword? We've already seen that's not even necessary. VS kills them just fine. If Dany becomes a sacrifice it should be on top of Drogon's back in battle, on her own terms.

Between major characters in the climax of the story? the series ended with the female lead asking the male lead who is also the love of her love life to kill her to save the world haha. Her death was the only way to stop the apocalypse. So pretty much nissa nissa exactly.

Well, it's not like she won't have people to care for the baby while she fights. Moms leave infants all the time in the care of others in order to go back to work. I mean, I use to think the baby would be born at the end of the series but that would mean that the war against the Others will only last nine months to a year. That seems like an awfuly short time to fight the coming apocalypse when the war of Five Kings lasted four years. That's why I'm thinking we get a time jump earlier in the last season, showing the passage of time and how rough conditions have gotten. Who knows of course but the last Long Night lasted 20 years. thats the thing..... ~conveniently~... i just dont think dany's going to get pregnant after the war is over. i'm not sure of what kind of time jumps there will be or if there will be any at all. but since i''m now leaning on dany surviving the series. i think her having a baby is going to be an epilogue type of deal. I mean, it can definitely happen after the war, we don't know for sure. But my inclination given what we know is that it'll happen during boatsex. Cersei doesn't need to get pregnant, that story line is there for a reason and I doubt it's solely to retain Jiame by her side.

I can't wait till the season 8 leaks come out and I'm personally can right that both Jon and dany will survive and that cersei will die in the series finale (if it's not only an epilogue).

The only thing I specifically want out of season eight is for kings Landing to blow up. The rest of it is all fair game IMO.
