Do you think that the Golden Company will have a leader in S8? Daario Naharis I would laugh my ass off. They could throw in a token actor, but I don't see why. It's not the sesame Merc group from the books, they are a generic force tossed in to give someone some bodies. Stannis, Cersei, whoever. Personally I want to see Dany meet Sam. Tyrion: I am so sorry but she executed your father and brother, I still hope we can be allies. Sam: Really? I mean gosh that's umm so sad Tyrion: You seem to be taking this news really well. Sam: Yeah gosh I am gonna miss them Sam: She must feel so bad about killing those assh... My ummm relatives, she probably needs a hug, I should hug her. Tyrion: Something tells me our families have a lot in common. Sam: My Queen! Did my family upset you? I am soooo sorry. Was it a slow burning, probably should of been a slow burning. Upsetting you like that, shame on them. Oh which one of the Dragons burnt them? Drogon? Oh who's a good dragon, who's a good dragon, Drogon want a treat? Would Drogon like some sheep? Or a nice plump cow? Gosh I thought Dragons would be scary but? Just looking at them gives me a warm tingle all over. Not as warm as my father and brother though, Hu, Hu, who's a good boy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they fuse all sellsword leaders from the books (Brown Ben, Tattered Prince, even Griff) into one character and have them be the leader of the Golden Company.

I wouldn't be surprised if they fuse all sellsword leaders from the books (Brown Ben, Tattered Prince, even Griff) into one character and have them be the leader of the Golden Company. Yeah, the Golden Company will need a leader of some kind, if only to represent them in meetings with Cersei and establishing shots on the battlefield. Ostensibly that would be Harry Strickland, but that dude is so boring and nondescript that I wouldn't surprised if they created a new composite character and afforded him some of the more colorful attributes of the characters you mentioned. Now to be fair, this commander character doesn't need to be flashy when his role is likely to be purely utilitarian and he's almost certain to die, but why not have some fun with it? The show has given us a plenty of new/composite characters who were created to serve specific narrative functions, but who nevertheless proved to be memorable because the actor they cast was given some interesting elements to play with and made the most of the opportunity (Locke, Karl Tanner, Malko, Karsi, etc). With new additions to the cast in Season 8 likely to be minimal, this could be one of the show's last opportunities to bring in a new actor and give him something fun to do.

Sansa: With her hair long and straight like that, I'm getting a real Cate Blanchett Queen Elizabeth I vibe here... haha. (she has been compared to Elizabeth since we know GRRM loves that history) Perhaps Sansa ends up on the throne, alone, for the rest of her days?

Since LF is Lord Protector of the Vale, once he dies, I wonder if the Knights of the Vale end up in Sansa or Royce's hands, assuming that Robin still hasn't come of age yet. Because it's certainly possible they are the army to go south to deal with Cersei since Dany will already have Dothraki and Unsullied in the North and Jon will have the wildlings and the Northern Lords armies so they wouldn't have all of their men in the same area and at least can keep both narratives ongoing. I think it was either @kairos or TheArchmaester who had a theory on this.

I think they will follow Sansa. And I think Sansa will use her name to unite the riverlords around her. Maybe she will reunite with Edmure in s8 at some point.

When I think about it I expect that S7 will have a really great scores at IMDb. E2, E4 and E6 will have big action scenes so they will get 9 or more. E1 will have dead Freys and Dany at Dragonstone and overall it seems it will be really strong for e1. So maybe more than 9 there as well? E3 will have Dany and Jon meeting and dramatic scenes with Yara and Ellaria in KL. Olenna's death and Dany taking CR. So 9 there as well I think. And at the end E7 will have the Wall falling, LF's death, Dragonpit,... My point is that maybe this will be the first season where every episode has a score 9 or more.

Figured I'd respond in LEAKBOWL. Yeah, there's certainly a lot of ground to cover in 703: *Jon and Dany meeting *Sansa and Bran reunion *Arya and Nymeria reunion *Euron's Parade *Cersei killing Tyene *The Unsullied attacking Casterly Rock *Jaime and Bronn looting Highgarden *Olenna's Death So 63 minutes (probably 59/60 minutes real footage because of title sequence and closing credits) sounds about right.
