Looking at the OP.....With the exception of 701 and 705, every episode has something I'm really REALLY looking forward to seeing. This shit needs to air already lol

605 does look slower, but if it starts with the burning of the Tarlys and the ripple effect that has on King's Landing and other areas, it could be fun. Maybe there's also some Euron-Cersei drama we don't know about.

Since LF is Lord Protector of the Vale, once he dies, I wonder if the Knights of the Vale end up in Sansa or Royce's hands, assuming that Robin still hasn't come of age yet. Because it's certainly possible they are the army to go south to deal with Cersei since Dany will already have Dothraki and Unsullied in the North and Jon will have the wildlings and the Northern Lords armies so they wouldn't have all of their men in the same area and at least can keep both narratives ongoing. I think it was either @kairos or TheArchmaester who had a theory on this. I can totally see Sansa making use of the Vale army. Especially in the novels where she spends like 3 books there.

I really like that toxic relationship. Lol

Out of those 3, I think Jon and Jorah meeting will be the most interesting. Jon being Jeor's steward, carrying Longclaw, and going to Craster's Keep to avenge his Jeor's death. Maybe Jon even mentions how House Mormont helped them in the BotB. I know Jorah heard from Tyrion in S5 about Jeor's death, but I think hearing it from Jon will be more emotional for him.

While I'm definitely excited for Gendry's return, I agree with you it's going to be Jon and Jorah with the most intriguing interactions considering the history of their families together both before and after the events at the wall. The Mormonts have unexpectedly come to the forefront of the Stark story as allies where in the books we felt so sure it would be the Umbers (who ended up going exactly the opposite direction). Jorah definitely needs to hear from Jon how heroic and respected his Father was as Lord Commander and I suspect that is what will bond the two men as friends and where Jorah realizes he can trust and respect Jon Snow too. Really looking forward to them meeting!

It seems that E5 will be that typical slower episode.

It's interesting that they have them the first two episodes of S8.

What do you think Beric's role will be in S8? To give his last life to save one of our main cast, probably Jon or Dany.
