Pretty solid episode over all but it has weaker moments. I'm not a fan of the riverlands plot so that sort of bored me, it's only saved by nice performances from actors. Actually all in all this episode is mostly about good acting performances and otherwise the action is slower. This is so funny

I thought the Riverlands plot fell a little short, too, katjushka . What redeemed it for me, though, was the Blackfish and his meeting with Jaime. What a perfect actor to play the BF's part! His words, "This is my home" were reminiscent for me of Sansa's when Miranda tried to intimidate her in the bath scene. I'm a big fan of Sandor Clegane, though, and was really glad to see him again. I thought that part was very well done - they didn't have much time to work with but still managed to pack in the essentials that I think are needed to advance the plot. It's sad, though, to see Sandor back on the path of angry vengeance. Lady Olenna's lines with Cersei are some of my favorite of all her performances in the series, so that alone overjoyed me. Her description of the High Sparrow as a 'shoeless zealot' was another I particularly loved.

I enjoy this episode for the little things, like the return of the Hound and his conversations with Ian McShane. "I thought you'd been dead for three days."
Olenna is who I aspire to be when I grow up. I will miss her when she's gone.
The Black Fish is the best part of the Riverlands. I hate that D&D sent Jamie to Dorne first, and then to the Riverlands, but he does get there and we have the amazing scene between Jamie and Edmure. In his declarations of love for Cersei, it seems to me that "the gentleman doth proclaim too much." It's almost like he's trying to convince himself he loves Cersei.
So many broken men...

I think the Riverlands would have been a lot worse if we didn't have great pairings for Jaime ... Jaime with Bronn, Jaime with the two bumbling Frey brothers, Jaime with the Blackfish. They were all so perfectly done, I can't help but enjoy this scene. The episode opens and closes with Sandor Clegane and so we know the "Broken Man" is him, or is it? He actually doesn't seem very broken to me... just as stubbornly determined to stay alive as always. Even when the entire group and Septon Meribald "Ray" are murdered, he doesn't stop to feel anything other than the hate he claimed kept him going. I have to wonder if we're ever going to see Sandor get to his breaking point with real emotion that he keeps so carefully bottled up. But as predicted by two holy men from two different religions... The other "Broken Man" is Theon ... and we see just a tiny glimpse of him trusting Yara. He's still in there somewhere ...

I really enjoyed the episode. I loved the scenes in the Riverlands, I'm glad that they finally got around to sending Jaime there, smacking the Frey with the Golden Hand, some of my favorite moments from the books. Also, the first appearance of Lyanna Mormont, and the Queen of Thorns was epic. Plus, seeing The Hound return was great as well, I guess that's another confirmed theory from the books.

Great scenes in KL. Really liked Cersei's scene with Olenna. Olenna's scene with Margaery, every scene at Riverrun. Scenes with lord Glover and lady Mormont were great. Sandror's scenes were great as well. Theon and Yara's scene was great as well.
I liked how Braavos looked in this episode.

To end his last scene of the episode with that long, last look and wave to Brienne as Pod slowly rode on down the river . . . that looked pretty real to me! Correction: Oops - I think I got my episodes mixed up. The last look/wave between Jaime and Brienne, turns out, was in the next episode.

Gave this one an 8/10. This episode feels very much like a "part 1 of 2" scenario. Lots of storylines/setpieces begin in this episode and end in the next. The Hound's return, the siege of Riverrun, Arya's ... um .. thing. The Hound's return was pretty good, but honestly I thought the bandits massacring the entire settlement is a pretty silly way of bringing him back into the action. At this point I'm honestly a bit fed up with the "Sparrow speeches" but it's the last one, so hooray! No complaints with the Riverrun stuff. Very well done from everyone. The Blackfish-Jaime conversation is great. Of course the recruitment drive in the North deserves a mention. I don't think I was as crazy about Lyanna as everybody else but it's certainly fun to watch. ( Also that's totally Stannis back from the dead on her right) I remember when the episode came out and there were half a dozen crazy theories about "Oh it's Lady Stoneheart!", "It's not Arya who was stabbed, it's Jaqen!", "Is that Syrio behind the Waif in the preview?". Hindsight's a fun thing
