THE DOTHRAKI WERE AMAZING.
That will shut up people who said they'd be easily beat in Westeros.

Even though it was a short episode most of the different segments were great. I know this will be unpopular but I wasn't sold on the Arya homecoming. I loved seeing her look over Winterfell but everything else felt, okay to me. I don't know, I didn't really connect with her and Sansa or even the fight with Brienne. Perhaps my expectations were too high. It was the same for me. I loved Arya coming home and her reactions, but her alone with Sansa...I don't know, I didn't feel it.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. I'll need to rewatch or have someone explain it to me because I really didn't get what was up with the scene where Arya was sparring with Brienne.. Was it just to let everyone know that she got really good? I felt like I was supposed to realize something but it never came to me, Sansa and LF watched her fight and then Sansa left. I kinda feel like you. I get it, they wanted to show Sansa that her little sister is a great fighter now but the fight felt weird to me. I can't put my finger on it...

Holy shit, one of the cave paintings is the spiral! As in the spiral of stones around that wierwood tree, the one the white walkers made with corpses.
The plot thickens. I need screenshots of those murals.

THE DOTHRAKI WERE AMAZING. That will shut up people who said they'd be easily beat in Westeros. They were spectacular, I loved the way they fought and it finally showed why they are such a large threat.

Oh yeah even the mention of the Children of the Forest was awesome. That whole cave was very ancient, and it really felt that way.

I loved the moment where Jaime was looking at the destruction. Both he and Tyrion amazed at the loss of life and with the Rains of Castamere playing in the background. It was beautiful.

I'm starting to worry about Missandei to be honest. I never gave any of the old theories of Missandei betraying Dany in the books any attention, because I thought they were preposterous. Although I'm ngl, I did make an exception for the "Missandei is a secret FM" theory, which I lowkey loved, and it's really the only one which I felt made a modicum of sense. But the conversation with Davos felt slightly ominous. I don't know if that's just because I've always been on guard for the traitor Missandei because of all these theories? Maybe. But the "never betray" me scene they cut from S4 felt similarly ominous.

I need screenshots of those murals. there were tonnes of spiral patterns on the wall. The pattern from the pilot/finale of S1 that looks a little like the Greek letter phi was also there.

I like what they're trying to do with Dickon, but i can't buy this guy as a fresh-faced soldier who's never fought in battle before.
