It was a cool scene, sure. I also can't put my finger on it but it was something.. Was I supposed to read a specific emotion from Sansa's face? It almost looked like she was upset when she walked away and I truly didn't get why so I figured I just read her wrong Baelish was being a smirky creep as always so I guess it's mostly Sansa that left me confused, was she just shocked about Arya's skills? I think we're supposed to be feeling that Sansa was so glad to see her siblings come home but Bran is broken, Arya is all fucked up, and Jon ( the one she never treated as a human) is the only real family member she's encountered. And even he is talking about zombies coming to kill them all. She felt out of her element in King's Landing, but now the world is so out of whack that she probably feels she belongs back in the Red Keep. I know you're exaggerating but the bib is utter nonsense Sansa wasn't all that warm to jon but she never treated him THAT badly. In the books Jon recalls her trying to teach him how to talk to girls (or something along those lines).

One of my favorite parts was the Dothraki war cry from the distance. Imagine being an average soldier born and raised in Westeros hearing stories about how ruthless and bloodthirsty these guys are and all of a sudden, you're about to be the first Westerosi to fight them ever. That psychological damage that cry probably did to the soldiers alone was incredible. Drogon flying over from the sky is just the cherry on the top

The battle: loved the almost Spielbergian build up of them hearing the Dothraki horde in the distance. Absolutely everything up to that moment when Drogon finally appears and attacks, perfection. And everything after that was still stellar. I was truly caught in this battle as I didn't want Dany or Drogon to die, but I didn't want anything to happen to Jaime or Bronn either! It was amazing to see Dany finally doing what we've been wanting her to do for 7 years now; dracarys her way through Westeros! Was stunning. The scene in the cave with Jon, it was much more intimate and obvious of their feelings for one another, already, than I had expected! And that's a very big plus. You can see that he agrees with her entirely, since as others have pointed out she quoted his own words back to him, the ones he said to Mance. A truly humbling moment for Jon. He agrees with her but he's in a difficult situation. Not only that you can see that she respects that it's his people that he cares for. Can't wait to see more scenes of them together, I'm sure there won't be enough Jon's scene with Davos and Missandei was also good. 'She's the queen we chose' perfectly paralleling Jon being chosen as King in the North. You could see that Jon was starting to like Dany more and more. (Next episode now please ) Poor Bran, he did indeed die in that cave. Tragic but inevitable. I'm surprised Littlefinger didn't run for it after he was 'Chaos is a ladder' lol No point trying to play Uncle Baelish with Bran, he's onto you! The Arya scenes were fantastic, as expected, and her reunion with Sansa felt right. I was worried it would be overly emotional, but they were never very close. They're closer now because of all they have been through, and ultimately, they are family. So it was touching to see them reconnect in a realistic way. And of course Littlefinger's going to be scheming about that too.... watch this space. All in all, fantastic, definitely my favourite of this season despite the fact it was so short.

As much as I hate LF, I liked seeing him silently shit his pants a bit when looking at Bran and Arya.

Guys, I hated the Bran/Meera scene It made me so sad. But damn, that battle though. It reminded me so much of Blackwater with kind of rooting for everyone, and that long shot they did with Bronn reminded me of the one with Jon from BOTB. I loved that scene, it directly addresses what is going on with Bran and why he is so detatched in comparison to Mera who went through that whole journey with him. You see the contrast and it addresses the root problem, and later with little finger you actually see a little bit of emotion. Bran has more important things to focus on but Chaos is ladder, indicating he knows what LF has done and is essentially letting him know he is full of shit.

Having watched the leaked episode already, I really enjoyed watching it on the big screen. The Field of Fire 2.0 was everything I hoped it would be. Interesting note I've been thinking about, just when it looks like one side or the other is pulling away, they get decimated. Dany takes Casterly Rock, loses her entire alliance, Lannisters take Highgarded, they lose the bulk of their army. Good thing the WW's are still North, they would have had a lot of new bodies to add to the army of the dead.
