Jon, Sansa, Davos, Tormund, LF, and Bran most likely.

I know it's divisive, but I loved those stark cold scenes in season 2. And Rose Leslie was awesome in them so I think it's not impossible to do a good acting job in that environment.

I thought the background of Iceland in those scenes was amazing, but yeah I'm not that worried about the acting this time around. It would have to make sense since Winter has arrived.

Iceland in January is like the Sahara on the Summer Solstice. Has a bit of a weather issue.
That means they could move the River/Crown/Stormlands to Ireland and they would fit right in if winter has reached that far south.

There was snow in King's Landing in the last episode and Oldtown looked pretty cold as well. Only Dorne still looked sunny.

The Dothraki and Unsullied will die in a few weeks if they aren't provisioned properly.

They shouldn't have much problem obtaining furs and whatnot. They also have the richest house in Westeros backing them.

Yeah the article mentions it's something like -30 F there in January... wtf. Do they need it THAT cold?! I imagine they will do limited outdoor acting with the actors only for the scenery. Most dialogue probably happens inside tents (for war parties) or keeps so that they can film those parts in Ireland.

I know filming was going to be delayed and all, but wow - January is pretty late for filming, no? Usually aren't they well into post production by then?

I don't think this is cause for shock tbh. We've known for many months that they wanted to film season 7 later so they could take advantage of colder weather. For it to even be worth it they would have to delay by a month at LEAST imo.
