I have no idea how fast dragons fly so no problem there. I imagine they can fly pretty damn fast. As for the wights having a chain, the NK's a resourceful guy, is it too out-there to consider that he might've in his centuries of leading a zombie horde maybe come across a chain? Apparently it's an anchor chain to a ship in the frozen lake or something (according to some redditor or another) but I haven't examined it that closely. You know it's pretty funny, they are okay with the undead army and immortal ice vampires, but where did he get the chains this stretches the fantasy to far. Also who made his clothes, and does he ever change them? Like maybe a nice robe after a hard day of zombie making.

Well there is that and ummm "caugh Jonsa" fans. This has nothing to do with Jonsa. I'm not on Tumblr. Well you asked who was hating on it, that's one group of People.

I think scenes at WF are written too good for part of this fandom to understand. They are not able to understand even the books if people like Preston Jacobs and rest don't give them the reason to like things. Arya and Sansa's conflict was written beautifully, deeply rooted in ther characters and traumas. Preston, I made him quit a debate once, I think he was crying a little. That little wor steals other people's ideas and them tries to combine them into a sort of hot mess. Over contrived crap. Always taking other people's support and then adding the ending he want. That's all he ever did, piggy back off others then add some wicked out ending that he wants. Never had a clue what he was reading.

So you're using the 'if you don't like it, you are probably too stupid to understand it' argument again? Jesus Christ, man. You've got a point. It's interesting the first time I watched the WF scenes, I didn't like the way Arya was being portrayed either. In fact even reading through the posts, I'm thinking it's going to be difficult to sit through this. But for some reason watching them again, I'm starting to understand more where both Arya and Sansa are coming from. Two different journeys to this point and Arya seems to be testing Sansa not so much out of hatred, but she wants to know where Sansa stands. Arya and Sansa have both become damaged by the worlds that they had to endure, the pain, the discomfort. Arya's time with the Faceless Men obviously plays a role here, she almost portrays a different face from the one we know. However, I don't think Arya means any harm, it's just the way she went about it that seemed creepy at first. It's definitely not my favorite of scenes either, but I think after a few watches it becomes a lot easier to break down what's going through each of their minds.

One thing that would've improved the ep. would've been just a brief Bran moment of him contacting Benjen through warging. Maybe if he did it in this episode it would've ruined the surprise but maybe earlier in the season to establish that Benjen was connected to Bran's powers at this point. Maybe they could've had the bit in 701 with the Army of the Dead marching and cut to Benjen surveying them from a cliff or something. Or Benjen could've even said something about Bran. But that's a pretty minor quibble of mine. Overall I thought his brief return worked well. Even if he stole Jon's s6 music. But he needed a good tune to go out with. And Jon's moved on to mostly rocking to the Jonerys motif at this point.

Well there is that and ummm "caugh Jonsa" fans. I've said this enough in the Jon/Daenerys thread I feel like a broken record ... Tumblr seems to be the only real source of a large Jonsa crowd and I don't understand why people are so obsessed with it (and hating Daenerys) there. Thankfully Tumblr is a very small portion of social media in the fandom so I don't have to read about it on mainstream media or see hate videos on youtube. Even reddit seems fairly even keeled about it. If tumblr is the only real source of Jonsa cray then idg why y'all are so triggered by it? This is not tumblr afterall, Jonsa is also not the worst of the crackships but it gets by far the most negative attention.

They're really going to have to come up with something monumental in S8 for the Hound to fucking finally get over his fear of fire and get in the game. They've been teasing this out since the start of the show.

I think the biggest problem in this ep is that the director failed to show the passage of time properly.
"Where did the NK get those chains?" is honestly an annoying question IMO. This episode had much bigger problems than that. Night King was clearly ready for dragons. He's had thousands of years to make those chains, and dozens of chances to find them.

I occasionally read Reddit, so I find Jonarya shippers a lot more annoying, especially the lengths they go to in order to prove that Jonarya has been canon all along is baffling. Not to mention the Sansa and Dany hate from them. But you know what? I'm not going to let them trigger me either. However, I'm surprised that Jonsa gets all the hate here, when Jonarya would be much more problematic (seriously, who would want to see Maisie Williams and Kit Harington as a couple?! ). So no, I don't support either of these crackships. But I also try not to let their fans trigger me with their obsession.
