I have a love-hate relationship with this new annual tradition of underusing Cersei all season and then leaving me shook with the final episode. I hate it, because I want Cersei to be this present in EVERY episode, but then I also love it, because damn, that Lena-woman can act the shit out of everything and make every scene an instant classic. During the dragonpit scene, she even made me think "why aren't you MORONS not bending the knee before this Goddess?! This doesn't make any sense!! " There was a huge fucking dragon and a motherfucking ice zombie in that scene and yet Cersei was still the most impressive figure. Only Cersei. Only Lena.

Because many (yourself included) argued that them being torn apart over this wasn't an option because they love each other. They're not getting torn apart. There will be conflict, but it's not going to end them. Yeah if Jon leaves her (permanently) then he's a dick and I'll root for the NK against him. I'm not too worried about it though. That would be so ooc for him.

Because many (yourself included) argued that them being torn apart over this wasn't an option because they love each other. That's some nice selective memory on your part because I can't actually quote myself where I clearly indicated that I can see Jon isolating himself from everyone while he process this information. And I believe what Weiss said was "if not tear them apart, at least cause real problems in their relationship." We all said it would cause a problem we just disagree about the nature of the problem. You also adamantly argued that you don't leave someone you love (unless you always planned to), which to me implies you don't feel like them being torn apart from this is truly an option. There's also no need to accuse me of having a selective memory.

I don't think that's how it's going to go down. Yeah, that's not really in character for them. Jon made it clear that when he makes a promise, it isn't just words to him. He pledged himself to Dany. That's not going to end. He's in it heart and soul. Exactly. Staying together just because of a child seems wrong to me, just because of the way they've developed their relationship. This means something to them both beyond just attraction. They have or will develop a deep connection with one anything given their shared similarities. And I feel like Dany wouldn't want him, if he's just going to be with her because of the kid. If he wants to be with her itll have to be because he wants to.

that Lena-woman can act the shit out of everything and make every scene an instant classic. I have to say, that emotional scene between her and Tyrion caught me right out of nowhere and blew me off my feet. I was not expecting that level of passion and anguish out of her. Peter and Lena have ALWAYS been fucking phenomenal when paired together in scenes and I honestly nearly cried when they were silently staring at one another with tears in their eyes. Cersei could not bring herself to have Tyrion killed on the spot. She loves him in some twisted love/hate way. I said this in the live reaction thread but can the Emmy people just please fucking mail Lena ALL THE AWARDS now please?!?!?

I know they won't. Then why act like your opinion is the one vindicated when I also remember you saying that it would be in character for Jonto break things off with a Dany. I'm pretty sure he'll want to end things with her after he finds our they're related. That is, until he finds out she's pregnant. Then his main motivation will be honour and he'll want them to get married so that he hasn't fathered a bastard. I also said in that post you quoted that they will stay together. I have never argued otherwise.

Being distant with them and leaving them and two different things. How is that so hard to understand?

I was actually surprised by how little presence Dany had at the dragonpit. She barely said anything.

I didn't not get "jealous" from Tyrion at all. I got "Oh shit, this really is going to complicate things, this is the worst distraction they both need right now". I think both Jorah and Tyrion were full aware of where things were heading. Both likely hoping they were wrong, for different reasons. I do believe this is the angle they were going for, you're right. The fact they played Tyrion's concerned look as they were talking about how this relationship was going to complicate everything in the inside the episode talk confirmed it for me that Tyrion's not jealous (he did call it afterall that Jon was in love with her) he's very worried. He and everyone else (even Daenerys) gave Jon shit for not lying to Cersei ... remember? Jon may not be Ned's baby but damn he's most like Ned in nature... honest to a fault. Remember what Ser Aliser Thorne said? "You have a good heart Jon Snow. It'll get us all killed." Thank god they cut that whole angle and those lines from the original outline. I hated the love triangle idea.

The Night King was bouncing like Kirby on UnViserion. He was fucking ecstatic to finally have a dragon. And did you see how FAST he was on that thing. Dayum! Viserion on ice is like a crack fiend getting juiced I guess... He's just ecstatic that someone finally rode him. His mom only paid attention to Drogon.

Tyrion raising Cersei's child would be the most powerful ending for his character I could imagine. It's so perfect, so bittersweet.
