I'll do performances, not characters, but everything goes!1. Sophie Turner - Best arc she ever got imo. And she delivered all the way. Dealing with inner trappings, old resentments, strange relationships and creating a seamless picture of a young woman finally coming into her own. Very natural performance all around. She delivered on the promise of her epic staredown with our beloved Joffrey in 110 and then some. 2. Lena Headey - By far the most brilliant (main) actor on the show, and the things she does in her scenes with Peter Dinklage and Indira Varma are unmatched this season. Cersei has so much going on that you get the sense no one understands her, not really. Least of all herself. But since her screentime is limited she's my #2 this time around. 3. Richard Dormer - Once in a while one of GOT's many supporting actors stands out from the rest and steals the show and this was Dormer's year. Both the actor and the character are like something from another time. He sells Beric's romanticism. 4. Peter Dinklage - Returned to greatness in 705 and 707. Tyrion's core is still family. He pretends it's all about changing the world, but family is still the stronger motivator here. I think this is his tragic angle going forward. 5. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - His best season acting-wise, tied with season 3. Another one who thinks he got away from Cersei 6. Kit Harington - Unquestionably his best season as an actor. He suffered no fools in the early season until he sort of became The Fool later on. But that's Jon for you. 7. Emilia Clarke - Same as Kit, better than ever. She had to be brought down before she could go forward, and Clarke sold all that really well. 8. Carice van Houten - Two scenes, yes, but when you use them brilliantly and create a new version of your character, you've done your job and then some. This melancholy but purposeful Melisandre is the best. 9. Diana Rigg - Went out with her best scene on the show. 10. Paul Kaye - Another of the great supportings. RIP, you magnificent legend.

1. Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington - They get to share my number one spot because their scenes together were electric. They portrayed a natural progression of a relationship and made it believable to me. Even simply the scenes of them plotting military tactics or just discussing random things was great. The best part of their performances were the facial expressions. The ones that stick out are when Jon announces he's going on the Wight Hunt and Dany's response, Dany's reaction to his scars and Jon silently pleading with her to stay, and then that last look during boatsex. Just the awe and reverence, it was beautiful.
2. Peter Dinklage - His response to the destruction of his family was top notch, but his best scenes were with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey. He's always been an amazing actor, but it was great to see him shine again. That Tyrion/Cersei scene gave me chills.
3. Pilou Asbæk - The best addition to the cast, every scene had me smiling. I know he's terrible and evil, but he was such a delight. I loved seeing everything he did, even if it was killing people or capturing folk I liked. I especially loved his "Peace out!" at the Dragonpit. His best scene by far was the naval battle. Just the right amount of crazy you would expect from Euron.
4. Alfie Allen - He was underutilized this season, but I'm sort of glad. Having little of Theon's thoughts and reactions lead to this really big "one, two" punch of emotions in the finale. His scene with Jon was absolutely heart rending and then his ability to claim back his strength and who he is. It was amazing.
5. John Bradley-West - It's really amazing how far Sam's come. Compare him at the Citadel to when he first joined the Night's Watch. Sam is confident and strong, a bit of a badass, while keeping his optimism and kindness. It was wonderful to see how much he's matured and the sort of man he's become. He's a character that should be happy and I'm fairly certain he will be in the end.
6. Diana Rigg - RIP Queen of Thorns. She was always wonderful to watch and I will miss her sass. She went out like a boss though. Even when she loses, she wins.
7. Lena Headey - Cersei is a master manipulator now. She really showed that level of crazy at the end, but displayed how in control of it she is. She's not exactly a Mad Queen, she's a queen without scruples or limitations. She does what she wants and we see how dangerous that is. I honestly got the sense she doesn't love Jaime at all, she loves herself, which kind of went along with Book!Cersei to me. But it's amazing how cold she's become and how self assured, it's different than her paranoia last season and it's amazing to see.
8. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - His scenes during the Loot Train battle was incredible. He captured how triggered Jaime is by fire and dragons. I absolutely loved it. His most memorable for me will always be his final moments with Cersei. Just how done and disgusted he was, but also the hurt at her betrayal and the realization that he never meant as much to her as she did to him. It was a long time coming and I mourned for his innocence in that regard.
9. Aidan Gillen - He didn't do much this season, but collectively, I loved him. His reaction when Sansa turns on him, his certainty of control and the sudden loss of it was amazing. She was always his weakness and that's why he never saw this coming.
10. Rory McCann - The changes in the Hound were incredible. He's come such a long way and it's obvious how much peace he's found, while still being prickly. Him on the Wight Hunt and then his scene with Brienne were just stellar!

Fave performances (I'm giving slight priority to main characters. So even though I think Conleth is a better actor than Sophie, I put Sophie above him bc Sansa is a main and varys isn't)
1.lena headey 2.peter dinklage 3.alfie allen 4.nikolaj foster waldau (really glad he stopped phoning it in this yearlike he did so in seasons 4-6) 5.sophie turner (I think she really improved this year) 6. Maisie Williams (I hated Arya's storyline this year but Maisie was still pretty good with the exception of a couple of scenes) 7. Iain glen 8. Conleth hill 9. Indira varma 10. Gemma whelan
Honorable mention for pilou asbaek

Yeah I'm not going to attempt to rank mine either.
Emilia Clarke Kit Harington Lena Headey Peter Dinklage NCW Sophie Turner Diana Rigg Alfie Allen Iain Glen Rory McCann
Really wanted to get Richard Dormer and Indira Varma in there but I didn't want to take anyone I listed off. Good problem to have I suppose.
