Agree with belle, I hope the wildfire is put to good use.
As to the white walkers becoming extinct or not... well, I guess if they are following the books, they probably will die out. There's a Bran chapter in ADWD which basically spells it out. Leaf says that soon the children of the forest will be gone and that eventually all magical species will follow. So unless Leaf was talking out of her arse, I think people's theories that magic will die is probably spot on. Whether all magic dies in season 8 or it's just the beginning of the end remains to be seen.

Read who this guy's the stunt double for and in what episodes. Has some pretty big implications about how long certain characters survive for. IMDB's stunt info tends to be very accurate btw. www.imdb.com/name/nm4663694/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr83

Leaf says that soon the children of the forest will be gone and that eventually all magical species will follow. It is also possible that Leaf was saying that CoTF and other magical species will be vulnerable to extinction during the upcoming Long Night. My gut feeling is that WW will retreat at the end of ADOS after reaching some sort of truce between them and the Seven Kingdoms. Azor Ahai's role will be that of the middle man or the new leader of WW. I think that's what happened to the Last Hero. He became the leader of WW and ended the first Long Night.

I think that's what happened to the Last Hero. He became the leader of WW and ended the first Long Night. I've seen this theory often before, but I have trouble wrapping my head around it from a feasibility standpoint. A new leader would have to "lead" ... but what is there to lead in an army of the dead? How or why do you need to sustain them? Their singular existence is to consume/destroy, and it appears that the current Night King "led" them by planning their ultimate wall breach...so for a new "leader" to step in in order to "save humanity" there would have to be another way to lead - another purpose for them other than to consume - because just existing is not the way of the wights/walkers. This isn't a population that just retreats beyond the wall and cooks/cleans/house tends themselves in villages under the right "leader". I think the only answer is obliteration...or the magic that sustains them.

So the mountain makes it to 8x06. This means Cersei makes it to 8x06 pretty much. Yay TheArchmaester So we have Cleganebowl, the Dance of Dragons and Cersei's grand final moments probably happening around the same time in episode 6. They really are saving the best for last Maybe this means Episode 5 isn't entirely a battle episode, which would be a nice surprise. I know some people are sick of King's Landing intrigue at this point, but that's what I'm looking forward to the most . So some intrigue with Cersei, Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Sansa, Varys etc. before and during the actual battle would be my ideal scenario.

I’m not gonna lie, I kind of wanted Sapochnik to direct Cersei’s death lol. But I always KNEW d&d would want to keep that for themselves and I’m at least glad to be proven right in that regard. I’m now questioning when Melisandre, Varys and Euron will die? I hope they all die in episode 5 but who knows at this point. I think along with Cersei, Jaime will also die in episode 6.

No Cersei in episode 6 would have been too damn depressing though. So I'm glad she makes it to the end. I hope Euron is gone by episode 5. Melisandre could surprise us. The NK is still alive in episode 6 so she might be needed there in some way.

It's hard to imagine Gregor surviving til 806 without Cersei being around too. It's possible to speculate a few scenarios where it could work but it's overall very unlikely. It's also interesting he has a stunt double in 805 as well, which means he's doing some pretty intense stuff in his final two appearances. So it goes beyond just one duel, I imagine. I don't think he even had a stunt double in 408 (at least not one I can find credited as of now), so it'll be more demanding than that for sure.
I'll have to keep my eye on IMDB as more and more of this information comes in. The stunt stuff and crew stuff tends to be very accurate. The actor info less so, that is up until right before the episodes premiere. IMDB can be fan-edited and anything gleaned from it is often dismissed as being such out of hand BUT it also often agency-edited. So actor info when it comes to smaller names playing small roles that no fan would have any motive to make up tends to be accurate.
As to how this info reflects on 805, I'm not sure. I imagine it'll still have some massive sequences with significant deaths. Sapochnik doesn't do small potatoes. Personally I doubt Jaime, Mel and Euron make it past 805 but really we've no way yet to know. But it does sound like they're saving the main Big Bads, Cersei and the NK, for the series finale. I hope each death is given enough time to be impactful. But I doubt they'll give Cersei the short shrift given the focus she's had so far and how much everyone in the production likes Lena. Johnny Nk on the other hand, I dunno. After all he's only been in the show since ep. 404.

I feel like D&D would want to have all top 5 characters in the series finale, hence I'm willing to put money Jaime also makes it to 806 lol (I also still think he's going to kill Cersei and I won't change my mind about that until I literally see it NOT happen onscreen tbh)

Yeah I definitely think there'll be major action in Episode 5, but there may also be room for plenty of dramatic scenes. Especially since the action hits the climax in episode 6. Maybe episode 5 is like "The Revolt of King's Landing" with the arrival of the Army of the Dead towards the end.
I have a hard time seeing Jaime dying before the finale, but it's not impossible (some people think he dies as early as episode 4, even though that's highly unlikely imo). We just have no idea what's going on with Cersei after her talk with Jon in ep. 4 or how her downfall is going to play out. Javi says she is not Queen when the NK gets to KL, but she must still be a threat if she lives to the end.

I get why people might think Jaime dies before 806, but imo what they're thinking of is nowhere near confirmed yet. And NCW pretty much slipped in that other interview too that he's been working with Lena for season 8. Like 95% of Jaime's scenes in season 7 were with Cersei and Season 7 was a part 1 to Season 8. There is no way those two won't have some heavy scenes in season 8 imo. And I think Cersei making it to the series finale confirms he does too. If you look at every single season finale from season 3 to 7, Jaime and Cersei's final scenes were either together or at least had to do with each other and I think it will be the same for the series finale. And tbh I'm not taking anything that Javi is saying as 100 percent, I remember during Seville filming he was going on and on about how Lena was only in Seville for trolling purposes, claiming he "knew" stuff on twitter lol. And his insistence about Emilia showing up. Well Emilia never showed up to Seville and we now know Cersei makes it to 8.06
