Oh don't you know it's his destiny to live happily ever after with Brienne (rolling eyes). Nor trying to downgrade that relationship or anything. I think it's important to Jaime's arc, and I think they probably will end up sleeping together next season. Although I think he will still love Cersei. He's just a tragic character. I was convinced that they were gonna sleep together for months and months like until June actually lol. But now I no longer think so and I feel pretty confident that season 8 will prove me right. But yeah he’ll love Cersei till his dying breath. I have a hard time seeing Cersei dying by anyone's hands except maybe her own. There is no Valonqar prophecy on the show. They may still to do it but it's just not on the show. I struggle seeing Tyrion or Jaime doing it. It's clear Tyrion still wants her acceptance and from the show is different from book Jaime where that prophecy exists. Jaime never goes back to KL he throws away Cersei's letter and is last seen with Brie. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if she lived, or died by her own hand. Only thing I could see triggering her brothers is if she kills one of them. I could see her killing Jaime. Book Cersei who knows about the Prophecy, I could totally see her getting paranoid and killing both or trying to kill both just to be safe. The reason a lot of fans look outside of Jaime or Tyrion is because of an interview Martin gave where he talked about prophecies and how they can be very misleading. Case and point Mel for the first 6 seasons. Rheagar as well. There is also one thing that floats out there, translation. It's Cersei's sept who tells her what Valonqar means. Remember what Missy tells Dany about the Prince that was promised, it can be male or female. Martin also hinted at this with his little joke about Dragons. That would leave an interpretation plot device out there but there is no Valonqar on the show to come. Also I haven't seen Cersei drown in her own tears, I don't know if she can even shed them anymore. She is also suppose to get strangled, even a trained MMA fighter will have problems choking someone out with just 1 hand. But again no prophecy so the door open for her to live or die in any number of ways.

I don’t get why so many people want to push back against it lol. It would make for seriously dramatic and compelling television. And there’s so much foreshadowing for it in the books and even in the show Jaime and Cersei are each other’s most important relationship. It’s just facts. I also think it’s super telling that the hands of gold song from ASOS for Tyrion/shae was about Jaime/Cersei on the show as I have always thought Jaime would end up paralleling Tyrion in killing the woman he loves. I'm fine with Jaime being the valonqar as long as Jaime dies too. I'll like it even better if Jaime's plan to save the city actually fails this time around. What I don't like is the triumphalist version with Jaime choking Cersei and then going on to battle the dead with Brienne or something like that. That sort of thing would be pretty awful imo. Honestly, I think there are 100 good/interesting ways Cersei's downfall could play out, with the valonqar theory being just one of them. But I agree that narratively Jaime has to play a big role in her downfall and I don't think there's any doubt that he will. Jaime will 100 percent die imo. As far as him going on to battle with the white walkers afterwards, I think that could work if it’s Jaime being super fucked up after killing Cersei and basically going on a suicide mission in the battlefield. i get what you mean by many scenarios in which Cersei’s downfall could happen, but I just think in regards to the narrative and Cersei as a character.....if she’s going to die via murder then it HAS to be Jaime. She’s a misanthropic nihilist who literally hates everyone BUT Jaime (the one person she couldn’t bring herself to kill). And he’s the only person left who loves her. Just thinking in regards to that, they just have to be each other’s ends lol. It would be the most satisfying and cathartic conclusion imo.

Yeah I don’t think the valonqar prophecy being cut means that Cersei won’t be killed by the same person who will kill her in the books. If they had included it, then they would have had to include all her Tyrion paranoia from the books and D&D also couldn’t have been able to write scenes like that 7x07 Tyrion/Cersei scene. Not to mention, with the fact that this is TV...they probably didn’t want to give away how Cersei would die in season 5 when she isn’t gonna die till season 8. Sure prophecies can be misleading, and we already know how the valonqar prophecy is misleading. Cersei believes it to be Tyrion and that’s certainly not the case. And I just don’t believe in things like “Jaime being the readers’ red herring” lol. And in terms of the valonqar prophecy the gender is specified within the wording “and the valonqar will wrap HIS hands”. honestly I don’t really want to debate this because it’s kinda exhausting, but for me this is as firm as R+L=J at this point and I literally won’t be moved until I see with my own two eyeballs of cersei dying in another way in season 8 (and I feel fairly confident that won’t happen lol)

Not sure why everyone thinks talking is debating these days. Guess people are just more defensive these days, I remember when people used to talk about stuff all the time and nobody got exausted. Anyway I think Jaime's hand was cut off for a reason and that alone could be a red herring to mislead anyone from thinking its him. I don't know if we will ever find out if D&D keep the same plot with her as Martin or at least her ending. I don't disagree it will be Jaime, Martin is actually very predictable a lot of the time. A lot of people thought Dany was a red herring not so long ago. Jon was a very predictable character as well, so Martin kills him and brings him back. Kinda like Jaime's hand. More often with Martin its not the who but the how and why. I do do find it funny that there are two sides to this, one wants Jaime to die with Cersei and one wants him to die with Brie. I kinda want him to live, nobody ever said the Valonqar would die.

Then again they are both probably heavily involved in all the battles.

But I don’t think that them filming at the same time means that they were just filming Outlander type sex scenes like people in fandom lmao. but yeah battle and action scenes take a ton of time to film, just recently an actor playing a minor role said something like how he filmed for 16 hours for a scene that will probably only be 30 seconds long. So yeah I don’t think speculating based on actors being spotted is the best idea. Especially since now so much of the cast converged in only 1/2 locations. We have no idea what anyone was filming or who they were filming with in Belfast at any given time.

Kidding, I think there is some sexual tensions between the two in the books, in the show it's less. I don't count out that something could happen especially when you get into world ending type plots. But I have always seen Brie as Jaimes first real friend. Tyrion is family so I don't include him in that. On the show he has Bronn as his friend which is a show only plot line. But even on the show she became his first friend, he trusts her, they are willing to lookout for eachother. But she also stresses him out because she makes him confront uncomfortable truths. I personally look forward to seeing them together, the actors work well together and they have good chemistry. I would like to see some smart ass remarks out of Jaime. Smart ass Jaime is the best Jaime. Who knows maybe Cersei kills Brie, she doesn't like it when she percieves people taking what she thinks is hers. And since childhood she has always thought Jaime was hers. She kills Brie, Jaime kills her, Tyrion thanks god he didn't have to do it and turns drinking it a competative sport and becomes world champion. My only fear for Jaime is that they replace his golden hand with an Iron one and people start calling him Iron Fist. I couldn't take that, it would take me right out of the scene, and if fans started calling him that? Oh god, now I got something else to worry about. I hate the Golden Company thing, I am curious to see why they are needed, all long and wide shots will be CGI, did we really need an excuse for more cgi troops? It's not like we have any real numbers. I get them being in the south, but in the north. She already knows you can't win up in the north. What happened to I'll wait for them to get thinned out? The only thing that makes sense is she cracks and sends them up there to back Jaime and keep her word. Maybe she finally connected two ideas that were right in front how her face. She noticed a dragon missing, they are not unbeatable. Then says she has Dragons she'll win. Did it finally click for her, "hey wait a second, what happened to dragon number three? Oh shit did the Night King kill it? Oh man I better keep my word."

belleProblem with the Spain shoot, it was only 4 days, it's part of episode 6, but it's not nearly enough time to film a full episode. I can't see D&D filming the entire episode in the Dragon pit. Thrones usually uses multiple crews for one episode to cover differenc locations. Like Emilia in Spain and Kit in the UK. Then you have sound stage shooting. I also would not be surprised if D&D are shooting something for the credits, a goodbye to the fans. Maybe putting something together with old behind the scenes footage as well. We watched a lot of kids grow up on the show. Who knows, it's hard to tell what's up with so few shots. I still have clue why a small group is shooting in the pit. I know what some are speculating, but that's a short shoot, that' sounds like a scene or two. Hey less than a year to go, so almost there.

Was he ever really confirmed though by any source other than Newstar there? I know there were some airport photos where people thought they saw him but IIRC that same mistake was made about him in s7. I mean I hope Edmure's back and it makes sense with Robin being in the scene that it would be about the heads of the houses meeting but is Newstar summarizing info (potentially mistakenly) or giving us a scoop here?

Newstar isn't a leaker, she's just summarizing some info and the rest is speculation.
