What were your top performances of the episode and since this is the series finale, who would you consider the MVP of the season or which actor/actress has had the most growth since S1?

That was a vintage Peter Dinklage performance. That should earn him his Emmy nomination and possibly a victory.

That scene at the beginning when Tyrion found Jaime in the rubble. That was great. (And Nik and Lena looked perfect lying there - beautiful death, indeed!)

Peter, Emilia and Kit. Might give others a credit when I rewatch but these three were given the most meat to work with and delivered. And tbh NCW and Lena are so good I'll give them credit for just lying there and playing corpses. And more importantly I'll give their agents credit for ensuring they were paid handsomely to do so.

On rewatch, I was bowled over by Kit's performance in Dany's Death scene/Drogo.

Emilia, Peter, Kit.
Bonus points for Lino Facioli aka Robin Arryn aka glow up of all glow ups. Neville Longbottom can take a seat.

Peter, Emilia and Kit. With Emilia as the MVP for the entire season and it's not even close.

I just want Emilia to win an Emmy now. She went through so much battling her illness while doing the show, and was completely blindsided by the ending as D&D and the other directors never even told the actors their motivations for particular scenes, let alone endgame trajectories. It’s well reported she was extremely upset with going from one of the most iconic heroines in all of fiction to a monster in the span of a couple episodes. And most importantly she flat out deserves it. I thought she was great all the way back in S1, but people were downright horrible when it came to her acting all these years (and we now know a lot of it the direction-or lack thereof). She was the best part of my least favorite season of GoT.

I'll echo what everyone else in the thread has been saying: Peter, Kit, and Emilia. They were, in many respects, the Core Three of the show (I tend to believe that GOT has a Core Eight - Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Arya, Sansa, Jaime, Cersei, and Bran - but if I had to boil it down to a Core Three, it would be them). It's only fitting that the final episode focused so tightly on them.
I thought Peter had done his most emotional work of the entire series with his goodbye to Jaime last week. His performance this week topped it. When he finds Jaime and Cersei's bodies in the rubble ... My God. And his entire first conversation with Jon was brilliant. This is Peter's Emmy episode, for sure.
Speaking of Jon ... I know that some people think are saying that he and Kit haven't been as central to this season as they might like. But it was all leading up to this. If the finale truly belonged to one character, it was Jon ... and Kit was outstanding. He matched Peter line for line in the aforementioned scene, and his confrontation with Dany in the destroyed throne room was spellbinding. It destroyed Jon to do what he did, and I felt every ounce of Jon's pain because it was all there so perfectly on Kit's face.
And Emilia ... what else can we say about her? This season is her crowning achievement. For my money, she gave the best performance of anyone this year, and her work in the finale was no exception. She made me feel the tragedy of Daenerys Targaryen more deeply than even I would have ever believed. I will be unabashedly championing for her to win the Emmy this year. So damn proud of her.
