I really enjoy watching documentaries. Although my favorite documentaries are about science and space, I'm happy to delve into other topics.
YouTube has actually become a really nice source for documentaries, especially for people who don't have or can't afford streaming services or premium channels.
Last week I wantched and excellent documentary on World War II.
"Inside WWII"
I also watched a fun and very entertaining BBC mini-series on the history of the British romance novel called: "A Very British Romance."
Part I
Part II
Part III
So, what are the cool documentaries you've been able to find online.

Thought we had this thread already, but maybe that was somewhere else...
Anyway, I love documentaries as well. For the longest time they were the best thing about Netflix before they started coming out with some good shows. I'm mostly interested in crime docs like Making A Murderer, The Jinx, etc. I'm not home right now, but when I can I'll try to make a list of a bunch of my favorites I've seen recently.

Anything by Lucy Worsley is great.
My favorite by her is The Real Versailess that she coproduced with Helen Castor. It uses clips from the series Versailles in which stars the former The Vikings actor George Blagden. A fascinating look at how things worked in 17th century France.
Helen Castor makes great documentaries as well. She made an excellent series on the Paston letters, but I can§t find it now.
Or the series on medieval lives by Terry Jones.

Here's another really fucked up one. It's about a case of Munchausen by proxy that lead to murder. Just finished watching it and it's pretty disturbing all around.

I just started watching The Keepers on Netflix. Anyone else watching? Nope. What is it about? It's a true crime documentary, 7 episodes. It's about the unsolved murder of a nun in Baltimore in 1969 and the cover up that followed. Victims of sexaul assault by the priests from the school she taught at came forward. I'm on episode 4 now. It's very interesting.
