I'm sure King Bran is able to pull some strings with the citadel if need be. He should be at the Citadel, he's the worlds biggest history book, you would think they have a few million questions.

I was never a fan of Dany, but man she must be the most tragic chapter in the show so far. All the other characters has at least a proper farewell and was satisfied with what they have at the end. Cersei and Jaime reunited and left the world together, Theon was accepted by the Starks, Robb and Cat died tragically but at least they have each other’s back until the very end. Dany lost her friends, her dragons, her advisors betrayed her, she turned the city to ashes, and the man whom she trust ended up betraying her. No farewell, no crown, no love. She was stabbed and just died like nothing happened. The only solace I can take is that she did end up breaking the wheel. Glad I didn’t have to watch Drogon die too.

I'm going to focus on the positives: I've been Team Stark from day 1, so loved that all the remaining Starks are still alive somewhere in the world. Ghost. Jon has been my hero from the beginning too - it was always his perspective I looked forward to in the books and Kit was exactly what I imagined him as so while his ending was truly bittersweet, I am happy that his was the ONE character they didn't mess with - he stayed true to who he was until the very very end.
In fact, Jon reminded me SO much of Ned Stark in this episode. The way he carried his body - the way he walked. The way he reluctantly stayed true to his "Queen" until he (like Ned) finally realized that what is right must win over honor. Kit will never get the respect he deserves as an actor - he was truly brilliant in these last two episodes.Sansa looked bad ass and finally got her crown. The Brienne/Book scene - omg, one of the very best. And Drogon not killing Jon - I read this scene as Drogon having the consciousness to know Dany met the end she was supposed to - and while he cried for his mother, he knew Jon was right. Maybe that's just me in my head seeing what I wanted to, but it made sense to me, especially with him burning the throne (which was awesome). Everything with Arya was perfect. I Jon's arc was good until season 8 pretty much, he was just standing there repeating two lines he knew and that was it. His, Cersei, Bran until now was kind of disappointment. Other than that it was a good arc for him. Being a King would be too predictable, cheesy as the long lost true heir to the Iron Throne. We've seen stories like that. I like that they turned it on its head and Jon's parentage was supposed to be a gift and it felt more like a curse. Aragorn's was more like a curse of forgotten line and turned out to be a gift he had to accept. Kit definitely grew as an actor. I thought he can't act but slowly showed that he can if given good material. He won't most likely ever win awards but hope he has a damn good career that he is happy with. Also, wishing all the best to the rest of the cast.

Yeah, I'm going to be really honest here, the entire thing ended for me last episode too. Everything in this finale was just sort of an epilogue without knowing the details of how we got to the epilogue. I knew there was no way Daenerys was going to keep her power no matter how "Sith Lord" they made her speech and lined-up unsullied look ( and that's the vibe I got from it, very dark side emperor kind of stuff) ... no wonder D&D are wanting to make a Star Wars series, they already got warmed up with their ending for Daenerys! The show ended when the bells rang. Gee I wonder why... Though both were aping Riefenstahl tbh.

i loved the way they handled it. Tyrion saying “duty is the death of love” really sealed the deal for me. Like, that just made it click in my head. I suspected Maester Aemon's line would come back. Though I figured Jon would say it to Dany. I wish he would have said it was something “my uncle said”

I do love that Brienne likely knighted Podrick. That's cute. I needed cute.

Hey anyone wonder why Gendry wasn't mentioned for the throne? He has an actual claim. Like at least mention it, Tyrion you were there when he was legitamized. He's Roberts kid.
Also what happened to the pack survives? You all just quoted it to Jon this season. The pack survives, okay later. My guess is Arya was probably like Sansa will be unbearable after this. So she is heading west to find some better writers.
You know what sucks about evil Dany, if you are gonna make her evil can we have her around for awhile like Cersei. We got like 10 seconds of evil Dany, and it's not like we needed Cersei, this season or last she was hardly in it.

So the Dothraki? Anybody?
Also, I was a little annoyed Jon forgave Sansa so easily. And that Yara was ok with going back under the rule of KL king. Why was her independence not honored?

It still hasn't clicked with me that I'm never seeing these characters again. Fuck, it feels just like Lost... I don't want to cry myself to sleep again.

I know I'm a broken record with this...but god this show did Meera dirty. She's the reason Bran survived beyond the wall and came back. She should've been at that council. It's ridiculous D&D didn't bring her back this season at all.

I I got the impression Drogon blamed Dany's death on the IT itself and not Jon per se. Drogon clearly had enough of an understanding to realize what Dany did was wrong. She didn't kill for food, she killed because of power. Her desire for that power cost her her life. Drogon was a bit of a hero in that scene. Tyrion said dragon's were said to be more intelligent than humans. On this occasion, Drogon proved him right. He was the one who had more of a right than any to judge Jon, and he took out his anger on the IT instead.

It's ridiculous D&D didn't bring her back this season at all. And they cleared up the debate whether Bran could have sex, or need heirs. So you can’t even imagine Meera and him in your head canon.

My feeling with the finale is about the same as the rest of season 8. Cool optics. Great CGI. Rushed storyline.
Tyrion finding Jamie and Cersei was sad. Drogon coming out of the snow was very cool. Dany walking into the Throne room for the first time was a good one.
Jon stabbing Dany did surprise me. Wasn't expecting him to do right the and there. Overall the death scene was good I thought.
It was a nice touch having Drogon melt the iron throne. I thought for a second Drogon dipped his head to have Jon ride him. That would have been interesting.
I Imagine Drogon went back to Valyria to put his mom's body to rest.
After that I found the episode to be cringy. But that's me.
I wish the main focus was on the realms of man uniting against the NK.
Actors did a great job. A lot of them don't seem happy with season 8 either.
Not sure if I will watch the prequel. I liked the first few seasons better than the last. But its been a great experience watching the show overall.
