The Long Night Prequel: Production Has Begun

I'm completely on the same page with you here. And I hope they tend to keep the casting on the unknown/little known side as well. They've got their one big name, lets keep the rest fresh and new.

However, I am going to continue to keep my expectations low and my hopes high.

Here's a new 'Dedicated Fan Page' for the series. Not much to see there yet, just passing it along.

I'm not sure. I wonder if the presence of the show affected his desire to return to the materials. Now that it's over, he may be more motivated/inspired. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself.

Miranda Richardson's short interview with digitalspy, where she says Bloodmoon will have the same base team of craftsmen as did GoT. I presume she means costumers, set designers, make-up team, etc.

"I have loved the storytelling in that series [Game of Thrones] and the wish and the will is to continue that, [but] with a totally different set of elements, [and] people," she said.

"The craftsmen are the same – there is a base team that is the same and their work has been phenomenal throughout. I'm just thrilled to be a part of it."

Various members of the cast have been spotted recently in Northern Ireland, so its looking like filming will be starting soon-ish. Yay!
