She's whack. Jorah is far too important to die for that played out twerp. If he has to sacrifice himself, how about little Sam? She’s his niece. And it would be fitting redemption after he disgraced his family the way he did. But as I said, yes there’s multiple people I could see him dying to protect- Dany, Gilly/Little Sam, Sam, Lyanna... I hope he doesn’t die at all though, as he’s one of my favorite show characters, but I think we’re losing some big characters in the battle for WF. Boy he's really got his head on the sacrifice block though. He hasn't had a scene with Lyanna, but who knows he may be speaking to her in that shot. Maybe asking to lead out the house Mormont onto the field. Now if she refuses and insists on leading them out, this goes one of three ways. 1. Grabs her by her belt lifts her off the ground hands her to a Stark guard and has her escorted to the crypts. 2. Jon or Sansa order her to the Crypts. 3. She leads them out and ends up as a new artistic mural.

Jaime Lannister surrounded by Stark soldiers...i know he's having flashbacks So are the Starks soilders. Even the picks make it clear Jaime walks. He rode in with his basic armor on. Here he is in a nice coat. The final shot of the pictures has him wearing field plate. I would be surprised if he is not in the War council. Maybe not but him and Brie belong there, so does Royce. Lyanna in armor? Is she leading the Mormonts into the field cause that is a really bad idea. Unless she wants to end up as an art mural. Yeah we know Jamie walks, but have to go through the motions. Poor Jamie though he has to deal with looks from Dany, the Karstark girl and probably Arya/Sansa-women he's killed/maimed their relatives.

I was just talking about this with my kid, I also hope Jorah doesn't die (yet at least) but we thought Theon, Tormund, Beric, maybe Podrick.. We didn't even remember Lyanna Mormont but yeah she's a good candidate to die. Jorah can live, she can go.

I counted the number of scenes we saw from the trailer, promo, and the photos they released so far and I'm not sure how they could possible fit KL in as this is probably not every WF scene, but I guess we'll see. Interior Scenes1. The inquest of Jaime in the Great Hall. 2. Dany and Sansa in the library. 3. Dany walking away from Tyrion, Varys, and Jorah probably into her chambers. Likely leads into the scene where she's in her chambers closing her eyes as Jorah leaves. 4. Dany visiting Jon in the crypts. 5. Bran in his chambers. 6. The War Council. So far we see Jon, Dany, Arya, Jorah, Varys, and Sam at this. 7. Tyrion drinking likely talking to Jaime since there's a glimpse of widow's wail in the shot. I think this includes the promo photo they released of Jaime back in February, but if it's not maybe Jaime is having a separate scene with Brienne. 8. Sam, Gilly, and Little Sam. Outdoor Scenes (Day)1. Arya talking to Gendry at the forge as she examines her new weapon. 2. Jon talking to Tormund about how much time they have. There's another shot of him the courtyard, but this could be when Tormund first arrives. 3. Soldiers running, Dothraki riding around perimeter of trenches, Unsullied charging through WF gate, Trebuchet launched. (Likely all part of the same sequence where they are preparing) 4. Bran in the Godswood at the weirwood tree. 5. Davos in the courtyard by the food stores. 6. Gilly near the benches of food and ale. 7. Brienne in the courtyard. 8. There's another shot of Tyrion in the courtyard, but I still don't know which scene this would be. Outdoor Scenes (Night)1. Jorah drawing heartsbane. He would have to receive this from Sam in a separate scene, which could be right after the war council. 2. Arya practicing shooting arrows. 3. Jon, Sam, and Edd on the battlements. Tyrion is also on the battlements in a different shot. 4. Jorah outside the walls with the Dothraki behind him. Missandei and Grey Worm sharing a potential goodbye. 5. Sansa eating a bread bowl talking to someone. 6. Lyanna in armor with Mormont men behind her. 7. Davos walking on the battlements. Sansa and Arya standing together on the other side. 8. The WW horse arriving outside Winterfell. If Cersei isn’t in this episode then that means this episode is just going to be talking scenes in Winterfell and then straight up battle for third episode which would bring us to the half way point of the season with basically no element of surprise in the finale season of the show. I’m prepping myself for disappointment but I also just don’t buy it. I was listening to the EW podcast on 801 and when the guy who podcasts with Hibberd was talking about how he thinks KL will have effects on Winterfell, Hibberd was dead quiet and didn’t say a word. Telling imo.

I was listening to the EW podcast on 801 and when the guy who podcasts with Hibberd was talking about how he thinks KL will have effects on Winterfell, Hibberd was dead quiet and didn’t say a word. Telling imo. It's possible that some scenes I mentioned above are part of the same sequence. Tormund could arrive while they're prepping for the battle before the sun goes down. We then follow characters throughout the castle as they're getting ready: Jon, Arya, Sam, Jorah, Tyrion, Davos, which would also help combine scenes. This does leave room for Cersei as her scene in 704 was less than 2 minutes and they could just be hiding it because it's too spoilery. Farfaraway also uploaded a collection of photos from 801 with the metadata and apparently the scene with Cersei in the Throne Room was filmed on November 20, 2017. According to the casting call of the mercenary, which ended up being Harry Strickland, his first filming date was going to be the week of December 11. Something doesn't match up there. But again it also mentions May and June.

Remember that Hibberd wrote in his article about going on the set while they were filming a scene from the final episode that was "huge" and contained characters that he didn't expect to see at that point. And that the context of that scene provided details on how the season had progressed which suprised him a lot.
There's a reason they're keeping the 2nd half locked down, there's some big stuff and revelations that go down so I wouldn't worry about the WF Battle being the climax. It's definitely the biggest BATTLE but not the biggest season development.

Lyanna Mormont in armour. If they have her riding into battle trying to be a badass i quit She stated explicitly last season that they would be training all her people on Bear Island over 10 and any gender to fight the WW (as per Jon's instructions) and that she wouldn't be sitting home knitting while her men fought for her (another own of Lord Glover). So her armouring up shouldn't be a surprise, Jon pretty much ordered as much. Having any child participate in this or other battles is a monumentally stupid decision and the idea is cringeworthy for me. Ymmv though

This ep is looking gloomier than the premiere visually but also oddly sweeter. Looks like they're giving us the intimate moments that were promised. Sansa drinking soup, Davos cooking something, more library shenanigans. They almost look like a big family...
I wonder if they think it's just a normal night and then when the sun doesn't come up they go "um, something is amiss here".

Do you guys think Jaime will tell Team Winterfell about the Golden Company? Or will he only tell that she won’t be sending troops?
