Sansa noticing Dany giving Gendry Storm's End so that he'll be loyal to her feeds into her mistrust for Dany. Well she wanted to give northern castles to the knights she brought from the vale over northern families so who is she to judge? That is such a Sansa thing to do though, she can play the game and she can manipulate people but *gasp* when others do it.

If anything, granting title to Gendry is a liability for Dany. That revives a more recent claim, and makes Gendry Robert Baratheon's heir and claimant to the throne. She should have seen this, but didn't or didn't consider it. Sansa did. In my eyes, Sansa was looking at Dany thinking "Why would you give a title to someone who isn't loyal to you, won't BE loyal to you because of that entitlement and has potentially a better claim on the throne than you do?" That's what I saw in Sansa's eyes. A look of "I don't think this person is really thinking this through." I hope you're right about this, and it's a good a-ha moment if Sansa does catch it. I know a lot of people right now are hating her and I'm definitely NOT onboard with the way she rushed to tell the 'secret' she just swore to Jon she would keep. BUT ... if Sansa can actually get Daenerys to realize how her obsession with her claim to the Iron Throne doesn't hold a lot of water if there are other people like Gendry Baratheon who now have just as much birthright to try and claim it too... maybe we can hope the chess pieces playing 3 moves ahead work?

That is such a Sansa thing to do though, she can play the game and she can manipulate people but *gasp* when others do it. I mean, that's kind of the point with her character development. She's not trying to pretend to be naive and she can sense when other people are trying to manipulate things to their advantage. She really doesn't want the North to be under Dany's rule so any move that shows that to be solidified is going to be something she doesn't agree with.

Felt like music was really understated in this episode. Other than when Rhaegal got shot down I didn’t really notice it much. Unusual for me with this show.

The music that was play during the funeral pyre scene was beautiful though.
Come to think of it, that scene is pretty much the only part I truly loved throughout the episode.

This talk on Jon was almost expected as soon as I heard the spoilers and certain people calling him idiot, dumbass did not disappoint me. Keep up the good work. If Dany and Jon patch things as I expect them to be due to baby, common sense up I guess Jon is no longer on the hit list anymore. lol
Did anyone on the show besides Tyrion occur that marriage would solve a lot? Btw so much for jealous Tyrion from interviews, season 7 scripts. Dude was very willing to put them together.
Almost makes me want for Jon to go North like basically, Tormund told to him and to hell with the rest of them. Backstabbing, politics, manipulations are not his thing and I told you that Varys and Sansa will try to use it for their interests.
Poor Missandei and Rhaegal, both deserved much better than death for straight shocking value. Dany is losing allies, friends really quickly. I guess I was right about their farewell in 8x02 in a way. It turned out to be a tragic but a bit later on.

You know here is the thing, most Dany fans I have known don't care about the throne, and we have seen Dany turn away from it to risk her life to help people more than once. A lot of us are book readers and it's pretty evident her story had more to do with Jon what with her visions and Dragon dreams. For those that don't read the books, she has visions and prophetic dreams.
So they stole that story from her and Jon and made it the Arya super power hour as she took down the NK like an angry Spider monkey who had its banana stolen.
Then they create this over contrived plot where everyone is turning on her and the prop up Cersei with AA guns and a massive army while she is down to like 80 unsullied. I saw Jon's army what do they have like 500 people? Yeah rest isn't going to help that and it is moronic that Dany would even think of going south with that and the North has been decimated and basiclly has no people left.
They take everything from her character, Jon, Jorah, Missy, her army, she gets no kindness for her help, no gratitude to speak of, everyone starts plotting against her including thos she helps. As usual everything just falls into Cersei's lap to build her up. And they actually go well over the top. I don't think the Unsullied really give a shit at this point and neither does she, why should she, the shithole remains a shithole and Tyrion and Varys go right back to plotting as soon as they can.
They ruin her and Jon's story for Arya and force the Cersei plot down her throat as the Starks go totally out of character and act like total assholes. At no point did Jon the pansy say hey you know I still love you, even if it won't work but you ain't going south, because you don't have an army and neither do we. Will figure it out. Had the Starks just acted like the Starks do with their friends, Dany wouldn't really be feeling the pressure or the issolation. Not one bit of common sense by anyone so at this moment you know it's an idiot plot because only idiots act like this which means it's all D&D.
The first 10 minutes or so we're good,, the scene with the dead, even the party where nobody spoke to her including Jon. Gosh I can't imagine why she feels like shit. Ned Stark would be ashamed of his family. Ned defended Dany and never new her, she saved his family and this is how they treat her? All they had to do was talk and act like fucking Starks you know who the sounded like Cersei and Jaime, it's all about us.
The excuse they make is we can't trust her cause she is not one of us, but they do trust other people. Just not her,and most of that if not all is on Sansa. Who to me comes off as jelous. At the party Dany is alone, nobody talks to her. Jon and her share a smile, just happiness at it being over and making it. Sansa sees it and stomps off. She can't trust Dany, neither can Arya but Arya can trust the Hound, he killed Micca, but she found a way to care about him. They admit they would all be dead if not for her and they shit on her anyway. Cause? They gaveJaime a pass in episode 2. But her? No and that's why it's contrived cause it's totally out of character. Someone saves your families life and you shit on them. If someone saved my family, they would never have to want for a anything ever again. Unforgivable and that's the note they are going out on, ruin everyone. Jaime had a nice story going, shit on it. Tyrion got a second chance with Dany, shit on her. The Starks shit on her and for no reason other than they want it for their over contrived subversion.
Bittersweet my ass. Only way it's Bittersweet is if someone slaughters the Starks.
"It will take on a life of its own" "I want things back the way they are" all she wants is to be with him and her biggest fear is avoiding a confrontation with him forced on him by others.
"Sansa will want me gone and you on the throne"
"She won't"
Jon says if the Golden Company and Lannisters attack they will beat them in the field? With what exactly? That's his advice for the battle.
"I'll never trust her she isn't one of us" I am Arya Stark I don't need allies cause D&D has me killing entire houses and armies in the blink of an eye. But Dany isn't family so you can't trust her.
Oh wait she is family, Jon's family, nope sorry can't trust her, the plot is based off this stupidity.

Arya said where she was going? The Hound said he has unfinished business, and she said she did as well. Meaning KL to kill Cersei.

They're probably plotting how Sandor can distract and fight Gregor so that Arya can get to Cersei ... (btw, I'm joking and I don't think Arya will get the kill on Cersei - I hope she doesn't anyway) ...

Dany isn't down to 80 unsullied. That's her guard. The rest of the unsullied are marching to KL with jon on foot remember?
She has one company of unsullied - like 100 dudes as her personal guard.
Numbers in game of thrones are all weird and made up and inconsistent but if we go by the pre-undead battle there were something like 8000 unsullied which was 4 markers - so 2000 unsullied per division which sounds about right.
They took off half the markers so she has 4000 unsullied or so left in her main army, and another 2-3k dothraki based on how many markers they removed.
Cersei has 20k golden company, the entire militia of KL, and her own lannisters and anyone still sworn to her of which there are probably some and the numbers are reportedly 'nearly even' with the advantage still on the northerners side.
So, you're misinterpreting that scene at the miserably tiny wall. With the tiny army. And the tiny spokesperson.

And I think the Dornish and Yara's IB are in the fold or else they wouldn't have been mentioned. Hell, maybe Gendry could quickly recruit some Stormlanders too while they're at it.
