JFC that WOTW comment section. WTF - what is wrong with people. Also, she wasn't that wrong about Jon's abilities. I wouldn't consider him a great Lord Commander, he was a poor communicator and that's what got him killed in the first place. He does need people around him with political skill and tact, which he doesn't really have. Just sayin' And like Envie said I won't waste my time on all the negativity.

I think people are also forgetting that Sansa was the one to convince Jon to march on Winterfell in the first place. He didn't want any part of it until she said something. Also the fact that she also picked up on a lot of political intrigue while she was a hostage in King's Landing. But I still think she's at fault for not telling Jon about the Knights of the Vale and she doesn't seem to take the real war seriously. But I guess you could argue that her not being an actual witness to Hardhome would make it hard for her. This is why Bran needs to come back with his Blu-Rays of Season 1 - 6 and knock some sense into both of them.

I like Jon, he's my second favorite character but trying to have a discussion about his shortcomings is like opening Padora's Box. All kinds of crazy comes out and attacks you.

In another interview, Sophie said that Sansa learning about Jon's parentage might actually allow the tension between her and Jon to disintegrate because if she knows that Ned was just protecting his sister, maybe the relationship would blossom and develop in a more positive way.

Her saying this gives me hope Jon (and Sansa) find out early on next season! I don't want them to drag it out the entire season like they did the second half of Tower of Joy. GET ON WITH IT!

I'm seeing a lot of comments online here and there saying Isaac looks like Rachel Maddow with his glasses and SDCC get-up.

Tried to sift through reddit, EW, WotW for decent clues about Season 7 but the damn internet has lost it's collective mind over Sophie/Sansa (drinking and contradictory opinions about Sansa's motives) so it's nigh impossible to find anything meaningful right now other than watching every single panel recap and conversation which I don't have time to do - working weekend. All I can say is, I'm glad we have our safe place here to discuss things sanely. Thank you.

They didn't really give away much, short season 7 production clip, info that they'll start filming in august and finish in february and confirmation that Sapochnik will be directing in season 8 (or I took it as confirmation as he said he hopes to return and Weiss nodded).

I'm glad to hear Sapochnik will be back but disappointed not for Season 7. Has there been any word from him why not, such as filming something else or ...? He's absolutely fantastic at really capturing the story so perfectly. I imagine he's had tons of job offers after his GoT success. Tried to do some digging around but no luck finding what he's working on now.

I haven't heard anything why he's not in season 7 but I'd like to think it's just because they're saving the big guns for season 8 and he'll be directing more than two episodes that year.

JFC that WOTW comment section. Just think of it as a positive. If she's getting such extreme levels of attention for her comments, then it means she's pretty famous and that she can use this to her advantage to further her career. Fingers crossed she's able to! All she needs is a Winter's Bone and she could end up having a similarish trajectory to LAWGEND, which would be so Who gives a fuck about the Emmys? Future Academy Award Winner, Sophie Turner
