exactly. i think the rhaegar lyanna thing is so cute and then i'm like wait he's married with children. I'm less concerned about her being 16 years old because, in Westeros, that's an adult. She was already old enough to be engaged. Sansa's probably 16 or 17 at this point, and she seems mature enough to fall in love with someone, so I'm not too pressed about Lyanna's age. But I don' want Dany to be pregnant. That would sideline her for the whole battle against the NK, unless they want to have a pregnant woman riding a dragon, which would be a weird visual. And yeah, that will be very bizarre to be watching them bang while also learning they are related. And I'm not really expecting much actual sexiness for the boat sex. Being that it's Jon and Dany fucking while the wall falls, I think they'll want to do a more ominous tone, and less bewbs in our face. Imo it's 99.9% likely that dany will get knocked up from boat sex. honestly I'm a little unsure of how much battle we'll get and the structure of it but there's no way that dany is getting sidelined in season 8 in any shape or form. I'm beyond excited for the boat sex lol, but there's no doubt in my mind that this whole Jon/dany thing will be a little cheesy. tbh I just don't want it to happen. Dany having Jon's baby just does against all of her "sun rises in the east" stuff. She has said at least once that she will never have any children, so I don't want Jon's magic dick to make her suddenly change her mind. But if she does get pregnant, I don't see how they could still include her in battle scenes. Especially after Cersei miscarries, I'll be like wincing every time she walks and thinking it'll hurt the baby. I'd be a nervous wreck if she was out there flying on dragons and blowing shit up. And though, as you saw, I was very opposed to Jon and Dany at first, it's grown on me. They are similar enough that it won't be "weird" for them to get along. They are both young, attractive, charismatic young rulers who have found themselves in huge positions of power rather quickly. They both seem rather lonely to me. Jon's calm rational would balance Dany's more violent impluses. They both want to help people. They both have very stoic personas, at least when they want to. idk, i could see them getting on well.

Hey mad max pulled it off with pregnant rosie Huntington whitely's character. I think I'll be cringing more when cersei wil be drinking wine next season. Wasn't there a VFX person on Reddit who said that there will be an eastern sunset in the boat sex scene? That pretty much gives it away. I don't have anything against Jon/dany because I've pretty much always expected it to happen. I just don't have any strong feelings about them either because we have yet to see them interact in books or show. I'm mostly just looking forward to it because kit and Emilia are hot and the fandom meltdowns

The Wall falling! I kept up with spoilers pretty well during filming, but i noticed it says (somewhat) next to the poll option. Are we still uncertain of this happening?

I think because it's uncertain whether the entire Wall falls or just a large chunk of it so the NK can break through, at least that's how Lads phrased it.

if even part of the wall falls, won't everything within like a ten mile radius be destroyed? Because I'm picturing the biggest avalanche in the world.

Yeah, that whole fucker is coming down. Well at least the relevant part of it, it's 300 miles long. Dany and Jon might want to rethink their decision and go to Winterfell instead of Eastwatch.

I want Bran to do something other than be our Flashback POV. Yeah, we need to see him practicing his powers being how he's going to aid in the war effort. Because I imagine he'll be fighting the war just that he'll be kind of like a midlevel high tech resonance and surveillance. Tell people where to go, where not to go. Maybe try and control the dead, take them out. I have high hopes for Bran.

It doesn't sound like he's giving us many flashbacks this year. Lads didn't tell us much about him but it sounds like he has quite a bit to do. He gave us a weird bit of info about him sending ravens to Eastwatch at one point in the season for example, which people initially misinterpreted as something that happened early in the season. But since he comes through CB not Eastwatch, that means he does it later on, possible in relation to the wight hunt. It's also likely him who sends Benjen to help Jon. So he has a part in the north of the Wall drama as well as the WF intrigue.

I thought there was also a but about Bran being down in the crypts. Maybe we'll get some history about the old King's of Winter and they relationship with winter and perhaps some clues about the Others.

I would love some mystery surrounding the crypts, and some history on the WWs. I think we'll get some of the latter at Dragonstone, with the cave paintings of the Night King, but I want to know about how exactly the army formed, and why they turned against the Children of the Forest. The Kings of Winter and the She-Wolves of Winterfell would also be great.

So, if you think about it the skin changing abilities of the First Men are eerily similar to the abilities the Others have to control the dead. It's clear to me that those things are connected. What I'm curious about, as you mention, is the connection with the Targaryens/ What is their relation to the Others, where they related somehow? Or are they natural enemies, but that would be something that would come later in the story as the Others are not part of nature, they are an abomination created by the Children of the Forrest. They final revelation of that might be the last Wow moment D&D have been talking about.

I interpreted it as this: The First Men were slaughtering the Children, cutting down their sacred trees, etc. The Children were desperate, so they decided to make an army of their own. Through some dark magic, they turned a First Men prisoner into the first White Walker. By some turn of events, the White Walkers amassed an army and turned on the Children. So defeat their own creation, the Children had to ally with the First Men. This is what is said to be depicted in the cave paintings beneath Dragonstone, and Jon uses that to compare to how, now, the Targs and Lannisters must come together as the Children and First Men did.
