So...how bout them dragons. Jon and Davos were really scared shitless. Did you catch the Egg there? When did Drogon buzz Jon? Tyrion "rule of thumb Stark men don't do well in the south" Jon "I'm not a Stark" Dragon. Its almost like a sign literally flashing above his head.

I like how the dungeon scene gives some more insight into Cersei's mental state. She's so fucked up and miserable, hate is basically the only thing keeping her alive. She can't sleep at night, and instead lays awake, fantasizing about the deaths of all who have wronged her.
She doesn't like talking about her children. When the banker offers his condolences, she doesn't even flinch, and quickly changes the subject. Once she's face to face with her daughters killed, she does break down, if only for a second. "Why did you do that?!" she snarls, almost frantically, like she's been waiting to say it for quite some time. However, she regains her composure, shoving that pain back down, and resumes getting violent revenge.
Her downward spiral is just so fascinating to me UGH.

Its almost like a sign literally flashing above his head. Definitely not subtle, but it worked. I do wonder if Jon will ever bring up Aemon to Dany at some point.

"Why did you do that?!" she snarls, almost frantically, like she's been waiting to say it for quite some time. This was my favorite moment of that scene and Lena fucking killed it. I got a lump in my throat right then. At that moment, she showed Ellaria her weakness, her inner emotions, because she doesn't need to hide anything from someone she's going to kill anyways. I think this was also where Ellaria's reaction kicked it up a notch because she suddenly realizes the one thing she and Cersei share is fierce love for her children. One Mother accusing another Mother of being a murderer and taking away the child she loved is absolutely gut-wrenching and I felt pain for both of them.

Yeah I wish they would include some of her more private psycho moments, like you said, the obsessive bathing after the walk of shame. That would have been a brilliant touch. Hopefully in later episodes, they'll give us one or two intimate moments which really show how unhinged she's gotten. I do like how theres a good balance with her. On the one hand, she takes shameless pleasure in getting what she wants, whether that he sex or mass murder. But she's also super miserable and lonely. It would be lame to just have her be this cartoon sadist who is evil but has a perfectly fine life. Cersei's personal life is whirlwind of pain and grief and abuse. She's definitely not loving her life. and yeah, I'd rather have the pregnancy be the way Lads described. That could be super upsetting and dark and tragic, and it would probably be the final push that sends Cersei over the edge. If it makes her even crazier, I am totally down for it.

Sooo here's a thing ... Some of us were wondering why Cersei's hair is still so short while Tyene's grew from the same short cut down to her shoulders. Looks like the speculation that she's purposely cutting it short now could be true: This hint from Cogman, along with the handmaidens all wearing the same haircut and 'uniform' (they've always done that in earlier seasons as well) has me convinced Cersei's continuing to cut it. What do you think? Nice find! I hope she "chooses" a new hairstyle next year though lol I know you guys want her to look fabulous and all, but the short hair makes her even scarier to me.

Dw may have forgot he knew Aemon, like he forgot about Dany and the Dothraki. I think that would be a great conversation piece, maybe Sam brings him up later, they were close. Though Jon will have a bit of egg on his face. Though a great conversation piece. I knew your great, great grand uncle. He was a great guy, super smart, we were close. He said to tell you that you should help me and do whatever I say. You should also call me King awesome sauce, and that you should give me a dragon and, that you should fight by my side in a metal bikini. When's dinner?

You want to strangle her, but you also kinda just wanna give her a hug lol. I think she's suffered so much (losing her children, losing her father, the walk of shame, etc) that now she's basically just sticking around to get payback. She wants to punish every single person who laughed at her, who threatened her, or who hurt her children. She's just the creature of anger and hate and sadness. it's quite gothic.

A final scene of her waking up covered in blood and just screaming will be so chilling. By now, I hope they keep it in.
