One thing I am curious about, is Beric, he could die and that's it, but I feel like they are saving him for something and that last life of his. It may be nothing and they are just skipping it. Beric's already dead in the books so I'm not sure how much of a huge impact he can have on the end-story on the show without altering the actual ending itself too drastically, but I do think he can have a heroic death while saving someone else in the process like Benjen got. Honestly I don't think much of the show from now on will be that similar to the books. The ending will be for sure, and main character faiths (dies/lives/rules x etc), but the road will be different. There have already been some major differences. The wight hunt won't happen in the books, and IIRC the explosion of the Sept of Baelor was also D&D invention. Viserion will surely become a wight though, and the Faith Militant destroyed and Cersei crowned. Just through different means.

After this episode, I think maybe Beric's purpose is to be Obi-wan to Jon for a bit. He maybe have already been that and is now obsolete. But I do agree with what was said earlier, which is that he's been truly underutilized as an actor - he has been fantastic in the last handful of episodes and I wish we'd get more.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much confirmed that Beric will teach Jon how to set his sword on fire, possibly even bring back Jon from the dead if he dies again.

possibly even bring back Jon from the dead if he dies again. That is my guess - that Beric will bring back Jon one last time. But, who knows? We are already past the life of bookBeric, so this may be D&D fantasy.

You guys really think so? Even with Jon being so adamant that he never wants to be brought back again?

Someone mentioned somewhere about Sansa sending Brienne away on the King's Landing meeting so she wouldn't be tempted to take Arya's saide against Sansa. Does that mean Sansa realizes she has to confront Arya and solve this on her own? I think so. Because each has been through so much, they do not think yet it is possible the other could have been through something just as harrowing. They are still, in some ways, stuck at the point they last saw each other - in King's Landing. Arya is still upset about Sansa taking Joffrey's side over her; and Sansa still thinks Arya is making light of what Sansa's going through.
I feel each sister's frustration, but until they trust each other enough to start answering questions it isn't going to get any better. Hopefully that's where Bran will come in - to bridge their worlds together.

Sure, I agree that there's a lot different from here on out, but in Beric's case specifically, how much can he really affect the final outcome of the story when he's already dead in the books? Some speculate maybe he'll give his last life to save Jon and bring him back to life again himself, similar to the way Beric in the books gave his last life to Catelyn/Lady Stoneheart. But to me that would be a major shift in the endgame story if Jon dies (again) and then comes back again so I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe Beric throws himself in front of the Night King about to kill Jon which they add for dramatic effect but doesn't happen in the books obviously since Beric isn't there. I guess I'm just dubious of Beric's major endgame role (as in some big reveal about the Lord of Light or Azor Ahai) since he's already technically gone anyways.
