Her dyed blonde hair probably just helps her in the regard that she doesn't have to wear a bald cap underneath her wig anymore. Yeah, this. I doubt this is for stunt stuff. Actors and stunt doubles use wigs all the time in action scenes. If there is a practical reason for it then it'll be down to the reduced time Emilia will have to spend in hair & makeup. Whether that's because Emilia values her time in bed or they need longer shooting hours, who knows. But I like the idea of there being a story purpose for it and Dany just gets a haircut.

I can imagine Emilia is telling the truth, she just wants an extra hour or so of sleep that having her hair prepped under the wig requires every day. But I also think it might be due to much more outdoor scenes than she usually does. Her wig got pretty ratty looking there towards the end of the north-of-the-wall scenes so having extensions with her real hair will probably be a lot easier to maintain in outdoors shots.

I think it's a combination of the two, indoor/outdoor. She would have to wear a substantial amount of extensions to mimic the volume they gave her wig.

Yeah, I could see the first four episodes being 60-70 minutes and then the penultimate and series finale being closer to 90 minutes.

Also, Lena says she finishes filming in June according to this podcast. Edit: Which if I remember, Liam said he would finish in June as well. I'm guessing some of the cast could still film into late August though as THR said.

From his answer I got the impression that there won't be an iron throne, which was pretty expected anyway.

Thrones does technically have a 60 minute time slot that they rarely fill completely. So even if the runtimes are longer, the time slot could stay the same. So instead of a 50 minute episode and then 10 minutes of commercials, it might just be 60 minutes of episode.

My big prediction that I didn't see anywhere is that Beric Dondarrion will kill the Night King's dragon. We know from commentaries that it was really important for plot that Viserion has a wound from spear, so that means a human will kill him in Smaug style. And I think Beric is a perfect candidate, since he has to do something major before his death, to fulfill his purpose.
Maybe Beric will do that when Daenerys' other dragons are already dead, so (second) death of Viserion will really have a major impact.

I don't think they care about the future books that much.

Well there is a strong possibility that they invented the way the Wall will fall and that was also a major event. If you listen to what they said about it, it doesn't feel like GRRM told them that.
We don't even know that the ice dragon will exist in the books and who will ride him. And "wound" won't maybe exist there at all.

Ice dragon taking down the Wall is D&D's idea. That is clear from Inside the episode where they talked how they came up with that.
