Wow that was such an insane sequence of shots from Drogon's back to the ground and everything lit up like that... even more amazing to see how they pulled it off with pyrotechnics behind-the-scenes. Mad props to HBO pulling off dragon effects better than some top shelf movies. Every year they get bigger and bigger. Compare this moment to the Wildfire scene in Blackwater.

Would anyone have a gif of that beautiful side shot of Drogon burning the loot trains? It was a great shot. Wow thanks Al!

The stormy/ashen sky is so good too. I feared the battle would take place under a normal sunny sky, glad it was not the case. Winter (and ashes) have truly come.

Davos keeps asking Missandei about Naath as if he either genuinely curious about Naath or flirting with her or he suspects there is something off about her. Going back a bit, but I think the significance of this conversation was what they were talking about, that Naath doesn't recognise traditional marriage and that therefore bastards don't exist.
It's foreshadowing a scene in which someone, probably Missandei again, will point out that Targaryens recognised polygamous marriages, and therefore Rhaegar could have had two wives and that his offspring with Lyanna wouldn't be bastards either.

This is a good point you bring up. Missandei may know Valyrian customs more than others and be key to helping translate some of that. If polygamous marriages were common with nobility in Old Valyria, then the custom would be more understandable from a person of that culture.

Targaryens outlawed polygamous marriages though. I don't think it was ever outlawed, they just don't do it because the religion of the Seven doesn't like it.

She remembers! That's spooky, though. She looks like she's crying, and the way she walks make it seem like she's in pain. So weird.
