Maybe she is doing laps around the set. While clearly one of them is LSH, the second is Ashara Dayne, she came to visit Neds crypt. She's alive and she brought Dawn to fight the war for the dawn with, and not the crappy one from Brans vision but the real Dawn the white light saber of awesome. It has to be, there is a conjunction of the sun and moon today it marks the unity of opposition and celebrates Jon meeting Dany. Even the Universe knows the theory is right. Let it begin, let it begin! But when it begins make sure to wear protective eye wear, don't want to go blind looking at it. ashara dayne was not auburn haired. it was catelyn's hair ned loved, blasphemer! It's the color on your tv, you need 4K, wait no 8k you need 8k yeah that's it, that's the ticket.

It's great but that's such a terrible line.

minor note, i recall last year people noticed arya went to a ned hairstyle after deciding to go back to westeros, but now it's really more like jon's with the knot tied in back.

Another subtle note about Arya's hairstyle: If you look at it when she first approaches the gates of Winterfell it's just pulled back in a Ned style mini pony-tail, but then when she comes out into the courtyard to fight with Brienne and has obviously now been there a bit, it's pulled back in this new braided knot. It's probably nothing, but I took the braid to mean maybe Sansa helped her a bit with it. Some sisterly bonding and adding a bit of a 'twist' to it?

Man just about 1 day to go, this season is going by way to fast. Next week is the big episode then 1 more week and it's over for two years. 2 years and 6 episodes.

Hopefully HBO will not do us so dirty, waiting two years is ridiculous. Maybe they want to get their spin-off well off the ground before releasing the last season of GoT regardless waiting two years is ridiculous.
I hope for spoilers.

I'm hoping that we'll get more clarification on when exactly we can expect the final season once Benioff and Weiss start giving their post-finale interviews (they probably won't do very many, but I expect that they'll at least give one to James Hibberd). Even if they're noncommital, we should at the very least get a sense of when they intend to start production and how approximately how long it will take.
I remain optimistic that we'll get Season 8 in either Fall 2018 or Spring 2019, rather than having to wait all the way until Summer 2019. But if we're going to have to wait a full two years, then I'd like to know as soon as possible that I can brace myself appropriately, and get a head start on devising some method of coping that doesn't involve a ton of alcohol or a medically-induced coma. The balance between two conflicting impulses - my altruistic desire to give those working on the show as much time and care as they require to make the final six episodes as epic and powerful as possible, and my own selfish desire to have those final six episodes as soon as humanly possible - is going to be a difficult one to strike.

No, no, no this kind balance would be out of my reach, I agree with you though, the sooner we know the better. I'm all for waiting more in order to get the best product possible, philosophically at least, I can put this philosophy to practice and wait serenely as long as they honestly need the time. If HBO is going to sit on the finished product then...nope. Not cool.

I'm all for waiting more in order to get the best product possible, philosophically at least, I can put this philosophy to practice and wait serenely as long as they honestly need the time. If HBO is going to sit on the finished product then...nope. Not cool. Yeah, when I say that I'm willing to wait, that generosity only extends to the actual GoT production team. However much time they require to make the final season as epic as it can possibly be, I'm willing to grant it to them - they've more than earned it, and I want to see their very best work. That same generosity does not extend to HBO's scheduling needs. Once the final season is finished, locked, and polished, I'd like it on the air as soon as possible. No keeping it on the shelf so that they can avoid sports or another show (the lone exception is that I'm fine if they wait until after the NFL playoffs and specifically the Super Bowl have finished - Game of Thrones is more than capable of steamrolling everything else). No putting it off for a few months so that they can launch some semi-comedic half hour loosely based on a stand-up comedian's life. Game of Thrones is HBO's flagship show - the anticipation for the final season will be supernaturally high no matter when it airs, and other shows on other networks will give way. So if it's ready to go by Fall 2018, air it then. If it's ready to go in Spring 2019, air it then. We'll know when production actually wraps on the final season, and we know from past experience how long it usually takes between the end of principal photography and the premiere of the new season. If HBO start playing games with the release date, we'll know what they're doing.
